When the CFO asked the author the classic interview question on where he want to be in five years, he answered in his chair. Three years later, at age 27, he was the CFO of Beth Israel Hospital in Passaic, NJ. He realized then that believing in yourself is key to achieving your goals and dreams. As any coach will tell you, the psychological elements of the game -- including confidence in yourself, your fellow team members, and the outcome of the contest -- are as important as the skills and talents you bring to the playing field. There is one more element in the equation: luck -- that is, being in the right place at the right time.
