    domains.
   Provide support to ASP team and local engineers in implementing the setup and configuration data

   Conduct on site training to ASP team and local engineers explaining various DCN channels and how to
    configure the DCN parameters using the Element Manager or LCT.

   Working as a team leader in a project whose responsibilities are to improve transmission network
    quality performance of Mini-link HC and TN microwave links, to determine problem root cause of the
    faults affecting network performance, to conduct installation quality audit ensuring Ericsson standard is
    followed, and to provide maintenance support to the customer.
   Monitor and review actual BBER, SESR, & UATR on access and short haul chains whether it conforms to
    ITU-T G.826, ITU-T G.828 quality objectives and ITU-T G.827 availability objectives respectively.
   Have used TEMS Link Planner and Pathloss 4.0 planning tools in re-evaluating quality and availability
    prediction on the Access and Short Haul National Portions of the network.
   For the links that the quality and availability objective were not met, have used Pathloss 4.0 and TEMS
    Link Planner 6.4 microwave planning tools to make and propose recommendation for link re-
    engineering. Diffraction, reflection, and multipath fading are simulated to obtain the optimum antenna
    centrelines, and space diversity to main antenna separation.
   Responsible in revising Link Budget calculations, optimum antenna centrelines, frequency channel
    assignment, and SD antenna spacing that results to a performance conforming to quality and
    availability objectives defined by the ITU.
   Have correlated the BBER, SESR, & UATR performance parameters with fault logs in determining
    whether the link is affected with Multi-path Fading (Flat and Selective), Diffraction, Rain Attenuation,
    Threshold Degradation due to interference, and Hardware failures.
   Have used Pathloss 4.0 in simulating the effects of multi-path signals over a reflective terrain to avoid
    signal nulls at median value of K and determine the optimum vertical antenna spacing for a 1+1 SD
    configuration.
   Have used Pathloss 4.0 to identify and define the area on the terrain that supports specular reflections
    causing multi-path signals that affects link performance.
   Have used Pathloss 4.0 in determining optimum antenna centrelines by using height-gain analysis,
    setting clearance criteria, and by calculating allowable diffraction loss at lowest expected value of K.

    configuration to integrate network element to the Mini-link Manager, ATPC, and SW Baseline upgrade

   Providing support to local engineers and ASP engineers in performing software baseline upgrades of ML
    HC & TN, DCN implementation and during fault trouble shooting.
   Have supervised ASP teams to conduct installation quality audit to ensure that Ericsson standard is

   Have knowledge about application of ITU-R F (fixed service) and P (radiowave propagation) Series
    Recommendations in microwave network planning.

    duplex half in a station and the receivers to the other stations.

         power and using high performance antennas has a better side lobe suppression than standard
         antennas.
        Excellent in analyzing alarms, fault detection, isolation, and correction with least possible downtime.
        Good in correlating alarm and performance logs in determining if radio link is affected by frequency
         interference, fading mechanism, or hardware failure.
        As maintenance support part of the project, have been able to conduct thorough installation quality
         check on unstable links, collect and analyze alarm and performance logs to determine the cause of the
         problem affecting link performance.
        Have performed local and remote SW baseline (release R7A/3) upgrade of ML HC using TFTP.
        Have performed local and remote SW baseline (release R7G06) upgrade of ML TN using BFTP.
        Familiar with faults commonly raised in ML HC (two Tx ON, two Tx OFF, configuration deleted, RAU

         using an SRTM3 terrain database. Using different values of K, calculated the antenna center line by
         implementing clearance criteria to avoid diffraction and multipath reflection thereby achieving optimum
         link performance and best receive signal level. Performed link budget calculations, and predictions of
         the link performance and unavailability. Handled frequency management depending on the
         recommended duplex frequency and bandwidth as per ITU-R standard on the network using Ericsson
         Mini-link E, Traffic Node, & High Capacity (SDH) microwave radio systems.

    SDH ADD-DROP MULTIPLEXER (ADM) TRANSPORT NETWORK

      ERICSSON TELLABS DXX6340 SWITCH NODE

     Supervised subcontractors in the installation of Tellabs DXX6340 Switch Nodes (implemented as SDH
      Nodes catering Iub interfaces between RNC and Node B).
     Performed commissioning, & troubleshooting of Tellabs DXX6340 Switch Node.
     Using an E1 Performance Analyzer, performed a line loop test to verify connectivity of traffic cables to
      the DDF.
     Performed end to end test between Hub ADM to Remote ADM by breaking a traffic loop using an E1
      Performance Analyzer.
     Performed troubleshooting of fiber optic cable connectivity from transceiver to ADM ODF to Foreign
      Equipment ODF using power meter.
     Verified optical performance to monitor level not to exceed minimum overload of the transceiver.
     Implemented cross connections (VC4-AU4, TU12-T12, 2MBps-TU12) matrix on the Hub ADM and
      Remote ADM.
     Coordinated with RANOS for modification of cross connections (Hub ADM-RNC) to allocate E1 for IMA
      per Node B site in accordance with 9 clusters per STM1 scheme in the RNC.
     Coordinated with RANOS for the re-dimensioning of Hub ADM to RNC connectivity when additional
      STM-1 connections are implemented.
     Coordinated with RANOS and the field engineer to perform break of traffic loops between Remote ADM
      to RNC.
     Constructed cut-over plan for interim circuits on an SDH node running on Mini-link Traffic Node to
      DXX6340 ADM showing all details of circuit connectivity from remote ADM to RNC.
