KENTUCKY CLASS AA BOYS’ STATE RUNNERS-UP 1998; THIRD 2007

Dear Coach:

Lexington Catholic High School is proud to invite your school to the 2008 Lexington
Catholic Cross Country Invitational. For 32 years, teams from Kentucky, Ohio,
Tennessee and Indiana have come to the LCHS invitational to compete against the
finest high school runners in the Midwest. This year’s annual event will be held
Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Campgrounds of the Kentucky Horse Park, the site
of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association’s State Cross Country Championships.

For 2008: Because of the growth of Lexington Catholic Invitational and to give more
teams an opportunity to compete on the KHSAA State Championship cross country
course, the 2008 Lexington Catholic Invitational will expand its boys and girls varsity
races.

This year, LC’s meet will have separate small school/large school varsity races. If
your team competes in class A or AA in Kentucky, it will be running in the small school
race. If your team is a class AAA school, it will be competing in the large school race.

Please send ALL entries via Hytek to Jim Kaiser at jimkaiser@mindspring.com. Jim will
create an event file and post it on www.ktccca.org.

Parking is $5 a vehicle. Traffic will enter at the Camprounds entrance. Parking will
follow the route and plan always used at the Lexington Catholic Invitational.

General Meet Information:
With nearly 50 schools competing, Lexington Catholic cannot play host to a
successful meet without your cooperation. Here are a few guidelines to keep
things running smoothly:

Everyone must park only in designated parking areas. Do not park along the
road or in the RV dump stations. If you do, your vehicle will be towed at your
expense. The vehicle release charge is $125.

Tents and tarps are restricted to the grass area behind the starting line. Please
do not set up tents on the side the other side of the road. Horse Park officials
insist on this. Runners and parents need to stay out of the campground sites.

Long -sleeve invitational T-shirts will be available for $15.
