Ecademy Offers Members Additional Offline Value with MWB Business Exchange

Ecademy, the British owned social network for business people launches another great
deal for members this month. Partnering with MWB Business Exchange, all Ecademy
members are now eligible for a 10% discount on MWB products and services.

“Ecademy is really pleased to be working with MWB Business Exchange. Their services
are of great use to our members” says Ecademy, CEO Glenn Watkins. “We will be
working together to launch more special offers shortly. Continuing our mission to support
and help members build their businesses.”

Mooted as the myspace for business people, many Ecademy members are
entrepreneurs, sole traders and freelancers who work from home. MWB Business
Exchange offers them smart serviced offices, meeting rooms, and virtual assistants.
They have over 50 offices in prime locations across the UK and are a great, flexible
resource for new businesses.

A virtual office from MWBEX will allow members to maintain a business presence at a
prestigious, city centre location whilst they work from home, or even abroad. Maintaining
a professional image and looking after communications. All post and telephone
messages can be passed on, wherever they are.

This recent partnership with MWB is part of Ecademy’s new Partnership Programme.
Ecademy is working with brands that can offer members special deals on products and
services that will be of assistance to them. The programme launched in December 2006
when Ecademy signed up with Zubka, the recruitment referral platform. Ecademy
members can now earn commission for referring friends for jobs.

“Social networks are becoming a sought-after method of tapping into niche markets.
Brands want to buy into them either to sell to, or recruit users.” Say Ecademy’s Founder
Penny Power. “Ecademy offers companies a means to engage with a trusted network of
business people around the globe. As such it is a powerful marketing tool.”

Ecademy offers essential apparatus for business people and aspiring entrepreneurs.
Launched in 1998 Ecademy is, and has always been at the forefront of the Web 2.0
social network revolution. Ecademy is leading the way in business social networks with
community interaction at the forefront having introduced clubs and blogs back in 2002.
(Its competitors are only just looking at launching such facilities now in 2007.)

It straddles the gap between tool-based sites such as Skype and social sites such as
Bibo. Whilst many entrepreneurs may join for the tools those who get the most out of the
site are the ones who get involved in the social side and many friendships and even
marriages have been formed through Ecademy in addition to millions of pounds in
business revenue.
