   Muslims from Arabia conquered the northwest region, which is now Pakistan and
   Afghanistan.

   Turkish Muslims established a kingdom, then others came to India fleeing the Mongols.

   The reign of Babur signaled the beginning of the Mughal Empire.

   He made India a place where Hindus and Muslims could live in peace. He also
