Power Cord Strain Reliever 2. Handle 3. Brushes 4. Base Tilt Adjustment 5. Tilting Base 6. On/Off Switch 7. Guide Knob 8. Aluminum Housing 9. Blade Screw 10. Toe 11. Blade Sabre Saw Safety 1. Always wear safety glasses! 2. Loose clothing should not be worn. 3. Have a clean work area free from obstructions. 4. The stock should be clamped to free both hands and prevent movement. 5. The line of cut must be free from obstructions both above and below the line of cut. 6. Operate the saw only in a safety grounded circuit. Sabre Saw Safety (continued) 7. Let the machine get up to speed before you cut. 8. As many teeth as possible should contact the wood. 9. Use a constant firm pressure to maintain uniform forward movement. 10. Support the cut-off piece to prevent binding. 11. Grip the handle with the right hand and make turning movements with the left hand. Sabre Saw Safety (continued) 12. Turn machine off before pulling out of or backing out of a cut. 13. Make sure the blade has come to a complete stop before setting sabre saw down. 14. Overloading the saw by cutting too fast may overheat the motor or damage the blade. 15. Any adjustments should be made with the saw off.
