Open House of Neighborhood Stabilization Program Home

In May 2009 the City of Cuyahoga Falls was awarded a Neighborhood Stabilization Program
(NSP) Grant from the Ohio Department of Development in the amount of $783,204 to
purchase several vacant, foreclosed homes in the community.

This is the second of six homes to be upgraded and sold to qualified owner occupants. This
Colonial home, located at 1631 11th Street, consists of 3 bedrooms, a newly renovated
kitchen and bath, dining room, living room, third floor storage, two-car garage and new
driveway.

C. Bryant Construction completed the lead abatement work, which included installation of
new windows throughout the house and new siding. “How To” Construction Company of
Akron, Ohio was the renovation contractor. The renovated kitchen consists of maple
cabinets and countertops from Freedom Design and all new appliances. The flooring and
carpeting was provided by Northport Flooring America. Appliances, lighting, and plumbing
fixtures were purchased at Lowe’s. Ingersoll Landscape completed the landscaping.

The public is invited to an open house of this renovated NSP home on Tuesday, September
21, 2010 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Please join Mayor Don Robart and staff for this event
at 1631 11th Street. The home will be listed for sale at $124,900 with Lisa Donatelli of
Keller Williams Chervenic Realty, 330-688-1644.

Interested buyers must be income qualified, have completed 8 hours of HUD certified pre-
homebuyer counseling, have a lender pre-approval letter, and monthly house payment may
be no more than 30% of monthly income.
