     Training Brochure
 For The Early Years Sector

September 2009 - March 2010
Introduction
The Eastern Childcare Partnership recognises the need for a high
quality, skilled workforce to deliver high quality childcare services. We
aim to raise the quality of early year’s services by ensuring that the
people providing care, play and learning opportunities to children have
the necessary skills and qualifications.

The Partnership has once again demonstrated its commitment to
learning and development activities by securing funding for training for
staff working in early years sector. Training providers have been
commissioned to deliver training throughout 2009-2010 on a variety of
topics. This is an excellent opportunity for staff and childminders to
continue their professional development at no cost.

This brochure provides an outline of each course, the duration and the
learning objectives. Specific details of the dates, times and venues are
available on the training calendar. This is frequently updated and can
be accessed at www.easternchildcarepartnership.org.uk.

As soon as you have decided which course(s) will meet your current
learning and development needs complete the relevant application
form(s) and return as soon as possible. It is important that your
