TITLE: RECOLLECTION OF TIME

Entry Fee: Class 1 £2 and Classes 2 – 15, £1 per entry

CLASS
1. A PEDESTALL - An exhibit staged by 2 people. Floor space 91 cm square, ground boards
provided.
2. TRANQUILITY - An exhibit - approximate space 61 cm.
3. TREASURES IN THE ATTIC - An exhibit - approximate space 61 cm.
4. T.V. PROGRAMMNE (to be named) - An exhibit - approximate space 61 cm.
5. ALL WHITE & GREEN - NO FLOWERS. An exhibit. Approximate space 61 cm.
6. LITTLE GEM - A miniature exhibit (maximum 10 cm in width, depth and height)
7. PANDORAS BOX - A petite exhibit (maximum 25 cm in width, depth and height).
8. WHAT NEXT - An exhibit - approximate space 45 cm.
9. GRANDMA’S HAT - An exhibit, dried/preserved/artificial material may be used. approximate
space 45 cm.
10. WICKER WORK - Novice - An exhibit - approximate space 45 cm. (Exhibitors not to have
won 1st prize in any Show)
11. MUDDY DAYS (To incorporate a Boot) - Gentlemen only. An exhibit, approximate space
61 cm.
N.B. Exhibit is plant material with or without accessories. Drapes, backgrounds and bases are
not considered to be accessories, but should be self-supporting. Classes staged on open
tabling covered in buff Hessian.
CHILDREN’S CLASSES
12. VEGETABLE ANIMAL - Age 8 years and under
13. COUNTRY GARDEN - Painting/collage - Age 9 – 11 years
14. SCARECROW - Age 16 years and under.
15. FLOWER ARRANGEMENT IN A BASKET - Age 16 yrs & under.

RULES
1. All entries must be made on the official form and handed in (or posted together with entry
fees and SAE), not later than 23rd May, 20111. No exception can be made to this rule. Proof
of posting is not proof of delivery. No entry fees will be returned in the event of failure to
stage any of the exhibits entered.
2. No exhibit may be removed before 5.30 p.m. Exhibitors must clear their exhibits by 6.30 p.m.
after which time the Show Organisers reserve the right to clear the stand of all exhibits not
claimed. No cars may enter the Showground before 6.00 p.m.
3. All staging will be provided by the Show Organisers. Exhibits may be staged at any time
between 4.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on 27th May and 6.30 a.m. and 8.00 a.m. on 28th May.
4. The Judges have power to withhold prizes in any class if they think exhibits unworthy. Their
decision is final.
5. Only one exhibit may be entered by an exhibitor in each class. No exhibitor shall substitute
one entry for another. Exhibits judged from the front and height unlimited unless stated
otherwise.
6. The Show Organisers will not be responsible for loss or damage of any exhibit or privately
owned apparatus and fittings.
7. All classes are judged under the National Association of Flower Arrangements Society’s
Competitions Manual Second Edition 2009.
8. Prize money may be collected from the Steward in Charge of the Flower Tent between 1.00
p.m. and 6.00 p.m. (Class 1, 1st prize £10.00, 2nd prize £8.00 and 3rd prize £6.00). Classes 2
– 15, 1st prize £5.00, 2nd prize £4.00, 3rd prize £3.00)
9. Only Officials appointed by the Show Organisers will be allowed in the marquee whilst the
judging is being carried out. All exhibitors shall leave the marquee punctually at the time
appointed for judging.
10. In the event of cancellation entry fees will be retained.
