The pool cover was caught in a mini burst and six grommets were ripped out. Repairs were
made and the areas in question were reinforced and one more tie down rope added for a total
of five.

Brevard Wireless has installed a camera on the north tower of B-building to give us an idea of
the clarity at night. More on this at tonight’s meeting.

The Special Assessment notice has been sent to all members and as a reminder the one time
payment of $ 255.00 is due March 1st. About 40 members have paid at this date.

Six new wire shopping carts have arrived giving us a total of eight to compliment the remaining
plastic carts. As the plastic carts break we will replace them with wire carts of the same
design. Requesting from the board we pay for the carts out of the Deferred Maintenance
fund of the 2009 Reserve schedule. Cost of this item $ 1,199.48

The spa heat exchanger went out several weeks ago, originally we thought it was under
warranty but found out it was not. We ordered a new brand (Hayward) since we have had so
much trouble with the existing brand (Sta-Rite). Hayward is one of the leading manufacturers
of gas heaters for pools and spas. We will scavenge what we can from the spa heater for the
two pool heaters but as they fail I will replace them with Hayward’s. Requesting the board
approve replacing these heaters from the 2009 Reserve Deferred Maintenance fund and
reimburse the operating account. Had to order this online and pay for by credit card. Cost of
this item $ 1,706.61

We have added a new recumbent bike and a regular stationary bike to the exercise room.
Because of the timing of the purchase (Company going out of business), these were paid for
out of the operating account by credit card but I am requesting reimbursement from the 2009
Reserve Deferred maintenance fund. Cost of these items $ 639.18.

Total for all three items. $ 3,545.27

Still getting complaints about owners not cleaning up after dogs and missing shopping carts. I
say something to the offenders when I see them, if you see someone breaking the rules and
you do not say anything then you are not doing your duty as an owner. Of course the 20
minute and handicap spaces continue to be abused. Code enforcement will be coming in more
often.
