					Transportation Coordinators it’s time to be really “cool” and have fun promoting registration
at the carpool matching web site www.CarpoolMatchNW.org to your employees during the
2nd annual Portland Metro/SW Washington “It’s Cool to Carpool” campaign!

This toolkit has everything you will need to promote the “It’s Cool to Carpool” campaign at your
worksite from February 14-25, 2005. Plus, we’ve included materials for “Catch a Carpool” campaign
(March 21-April 15, 2005) to encourage your employees to actually commute to work in a carpool.

We’ve made this toolkit simple to use with minimal work for you . . .

       CAMPAIGN TIMELINE on page 2 is organized to help you know what to do and when to do it.

       SAMPLE MESSAGES on pages 3-4 are online at www.CarpoolMatchNW.org and can be
       used in your company newsletter or e-mail.

       PARTICIPATION FORMS and THANK YOU NOTES on pages 5-6 are online and are
       designed to help you track employee participation and thank them for their participation at the
       end of the campaign.

       CarpoolMatchNW.org BROCHURES are included so employees can have more information.
       Place them in convenient locations. For brochures call Jen at 503-823-5345.

       DASHBOARD MATS are included for distribution to every employee who registers or updates
       their information on www.CarpoolMatchNW.org.

       “Catch a Carpool” CAMPAIGN POSTERS and a SAMPLE MESSAGE are provided so you
       can advertise the campaign. There is nothing else for you to do!



YOU CAN REMIND YOUR EMPLOYEES that registration on
CarpoolMatchNW.org is safe and confidential. Every
employee who registers or updates their information on
CarpoolMatchNW.org during the “It’s Cool to Carpool" campaign
will receive a dashboard mat as a thank-you gift for registering.

and keys from sliding around), as well as be entered to win some exciting prizes.

CarpoolMatchNW.org is a great way to help you find a carpool partner. It’s safe and
confidential. All you have to do is log on to www.CarpoolMatchNW.org and complete the
online registration. The computer will do the matching for you!

After you register at CarpoolMatchNW.org,
