									2010 Registration Information
Welcome to the 2010 Winter Serson,
We hope you had a Merry Christmas & have had a relaxing start to the New Year.

A second registration day for the 2010 season is scheduled for Sunday 7 February 2010. If you would
like to be part of the SBFC 2010 season and have not registered please take the time to read through this

note, prepare the necessary documents, and join us on 7 February.
Our season officially starts in the last week of March.


       Registration Day
    When:       Sunday 7th February 2010
    Time:       9:00am to 12:00pm
    Location: St Bernadette’s Primary School.
                Outside Parish Hall near School canteen, below rear of the Church Building
                Entry via Brisbane Rd Castle Hill
                Note - Payments by Cash or cheque only.
       ******NO EFTPOS or CREDIT CARD facilities available********

       Forms
        Two forms need to be completed & submitted on the day along with cash or cheque for the
appropriate amount. Blank forms will be available if required.
        - SBFC Registration Form: retained by the club and contains player and contact information along
with a schedule of fees.
        - CI Form: this is a NSWCFA form and needs to be printed double sided and completed for
submission to the Association.
                  NB: we cannot accept forms that are printed over 2 separate pages – correct forms will
be available on the day if required.
        - Photos: 2 Passport sized player photos if your child is; playing in U8’s, U9 or above & did not
play for SBFC in 2009, or U9-U12 with an expired ID card.

       Uniforms
        Jerseys are supplied to each player at the start of the season and are to be returned to club at
end of the season.
        Each player will need to purchase shorts and socks – these can be organised on Registration
Day (see Registration Forms).
        Club Jackets are supplied to Coaches and Managers.
        Equipment Swap Meet – bring any unwanted boots, shin-pads, etc to the Registration Day so that
they may get passed on & get a second life.


2010 Important Information

       FOOTBALL ELITE Coaching & Development
        We will be running a training program through the year with the first block at the start of the
        season.

       U8 Smaller Field Size
        In 2010 the NSWCFA is reducing the U8’s from a full field down to 3 quarter size.
        Goals will be positioned on the 18 yard penalty box with the width of the field remaining the same.
        Each side will comprise of 9 players consisting 8 + goal keeper.
        Details to follow in the New Year.

       Equipment & Coaching investment
        The club will be sourcing kits similar to that used by Football Elite in our Coaching/Development
        program to assist in player development
        We will also be offering coaching courses for those interested.

      Club Meetings
       One general meeting for Coaches and Managers is held in the preseason each year.
       One field set up meeting is held preseason.

      Fund Raising
       We are a voluntary club that depends on our Sponsors and Fundraising.
       SBFC has at least one movie night per year close to school holidays.
       In 2010 we will assist in running the Canteen on Field 2 at Excelsior and run at special event
       BBQs (e.g. Registration, Presentation Day, etc)
       All ideas welcome.

      Home Ground
       Our home ground is Field 1, The Eric Mobb's Reserve. East end of Excelsior Avenue Castle Hill.
