Flight Status Information offered in NYC Hotels

Today, April 4th 2011, news that South West is grounding dozens of Boeing 737s due to inspections, hit
the grape vine. Today, hundreds of air travelers will hear this news at the Airport and they will have to
brace themselves for long waiting hours.

The hotels in NYC, however, have found a way to make life of their guests just a little easier.

Flight Time TV (www.flighttimetv.com) publishes Real-Time flight information of the John F. Kennedy
Airport, La Guardia Airport and the Newark Liberty Airport straight into the lobby of NYC Hotels, as a
guest service enhancement. Air travelers can now see if their flight is on-time, delayed or cancelled from
the comfort of their Hotel in New York City.

The flight information is delivered to the hotel long before the guest has to leave for the airport. Any
changes to flights can be made from the hotel and, if the re-assigned flight does not leave until the next
day, an extra night is easily booked.

Wouldn’t that beat looking at the walls for hours, in a crowded airport environment, with anxious fellow
travelers and overworked airport staff?
