									Lentil and chick pea curry


Ingredients

2 cups of water
2 cups of lentils
2 cups of coconut milk or coconut block
1 red chilli finely chopped
1 tin chick peas
1 tsp turmeric
3 tbls oil
Curry leaves
2 onions chopped
Chopped parsley and coriander for garnish
Salt and lemon juice to taste


Method
Wash the lentils and put in pan with the water, cook until lentils soft.
Meanwhile, heat the oil and fry the chopped onions and curry leaves, add
the chopped chilli and turmeric.
Add the cooked lentils to the fried onions and chilli, add the salt, coconut
milk and lemon juice and simmer for 20 minutes taste and eat with rice
