Goa is famous for its long stretch of beaches dotted with shacks. European tourists take over the
beachside state during the winter months. The Portuguese heritage of Goa makes it a unique
blend of cultures that accommodates visitors with ease. Peaceful and green, Goa is gorgeous in
the winters. If you are unafraid of the rain, you must make a trip during the monsoons to see
the verdant landscapes in pouring rain. The best way to travel around Goa is to rent 2-wheeler
mopeds that give you the freedom to go wherever you like.

Previously known as Cochin, this vibrant city is situated on the south-west coast of the Indian
peninsula, in the palm-lined state of Kerala. ‘God’s Own Country’ is how Kerala markets its
tourism, and a visit here proves the assertion. Abundant greenery, water-bodies, and some excellent
seafood will make this a holiday to remember. Kochi is known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea for
its strategic importance over centuries as a port and trading destination. Informally, Kochi is also
referred to as the Gateway to Kerala.
