Guest Internet Agreement

							                      GUEST USER AGREEMENT
Dickinson College is happy to extend Internet access to certain College guests who
request this service. This access, however, requires that you (“Guest”) understand that
there are certain risks and responsibilities associated with such access.

THIS SERVICE IS PROVIDED TO YOU AS COURTESY BY DICKINSON COLLEGE.
IT IS PROVIDED WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION, EXPRESSED
OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY, RELATED TO NONINFRINGEMENT OR TO FREEDOM
FROM VIRUSES OR OTHER SOFTWARE THAT MIGHT HARM YOUR COMPUTER.
DICKINSON COLLEGE DOES NOT ASSUME ANY LIABILITY FOR INTERFERENCE
WITH, OR DAMAGE TO, YOUR PERSONAL COMPUTER, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO, THE OPERATING SYSTEM, APPLICATIONS, PROGRAMS OR DATA
FILES ON YOUR COMPUTER, THAT MAY OCCUR AS A RESULT OF THE
SERVICES PROVIDED.

In using the College’s Internet access, you are strongly urged to make certain that you
are running anti-virus software with up-to-date virus definition files for your own
protection.

Also, in using Internet access provided by Dickinson College, you must at all times
comply with the College’s Responsible Use Policy, a copy of which is provided with this
Agreement           and      which       is      available      for     viewing      at
http://lis.dickinson.edu/AboutLIS/Policies/responsibleusepolicy.htm. All references in
this policy to “employees and students” are extended to Guests by this Agreement.

Your right to access the Internet shall expire on ___________ and shall be fully
revocable at any time in the sole discretion of the College.

Further, you agree to defend and hold the College, its trustees, officers, employees, and
representatives harmless for any and all damages arising from your use of the Internet.
