Director of Systems Development- January 2003 to August 2004
        Responsible for architecture and maintenance of company web site, which sells tickets for 70% of the nation’s wired movie
        theaters. The company generates over $150 million/year in revenue between it’s web and phone systems.
        Replaced existing search functionality to increase speed and accuracy of showtime searches, while decreasing server load.
        Developed new system for tracking and managing opt-in database of over 1.8 million users.
        Architected and implemented system to integrate Fandango showtimes with external partners, allowing them to provide deep
        links to our ticketing process. Partners include Yahoo, Internet Movie Database, and other Tribune Media Services clients.
        Redesigned method for gathering showtimes in real time from over 800 remote point-of-sale systems to reduce showtime
        inaccuracy and decrease load on the system.
        Designed and implemented data feed projects to virtually eliminate data inconsistencies between web site and IVR system.
        Hired and trained new programming staff to increase department capacity and skill level.
        Designed new transaction system to meet the company’s projected reporting and traffic needs through 2006.

        Served as main technical liaison for various vendors helping to design the Times' web site.
        Tasks included site architecture, configuring and maintaining all staff hardware, developing scripts and programs for
