                                INCITS/J4 COBOL Committee – Meeting 264

NOTE: Because the draft agenda for this meeting was published less
than four weeks prior to this meeting, the meeting does not qualify as
“duly called”, and therefore actions taken at this meeting are not official
and will be revisited at the next duly-called meeting of this committee.

The December 3-7, 2007, INCITS/J4 COBOL meeting will be held at the AmeriSuites Hotel in Las Vegas:

The meeting times are 8:30 a.m. thru 6:00 p.m. each day, except the final day when it ends at 12:30 p.m.

Reservations must be made directly with the hotel by November 2 and guaranteed with a credit card or check.
The block of rooms for the meeting is held under the group name "J4" / "J4 Meeting".

        Note the hotel is in the middle of being converted from AmeriSuites to a Hyatt hotel, so
        please prevent confusion and make sure you call the hotels own frontdesk (number see
        above) and tell the person that answers you need to talk to sales, preferably:

The AmeriSuites in Las Vegas is an all-suites hotel, about a mile from the Las Vegas strip. The suites feature
mini refrigerators, microwaves, and high-speed internet access through your ethernet port. The meeting room
will have wireless internet access. Smoking as well as non-smoking rooms are available. The rate is $109 plus
$9.81 (9%) tax; hot breakfast included. This rate is available one night prior to and one night after the meeting.

The hotel is adjacent to the Hard Rock Casino and the new Hofbrauhaus German Restaurant and Beer
Garden. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, and many more within a 5-
minute drive or taxi ride.

Flights should be made into Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS). The hotel is approximately two
miles north of the airport and it provides a courtesy shuttle to and from the airport. Pickup begins at 5:15 a.m.
and continues with pickup at each quarter after the hour through 11:15 p.m. For taxi from the airport, expect to
pay about $10.

If you are driving from the airport, take the Swenson Street exit North. Go approximately 1 mile (crossing
Tropicana Avenue) and turn left at Harmon Avenue, where there is a traffic light. AmeriSuites will be on your
left in the first block.
