  59:24 He is Allah, the Creator, the Maker,
the Fashioner,the Bestower of forms.
To Him belong the Best Names, the most
beautiful names. All that is in the heavens
& the earth glorify Him & He is the Almighty,
the Most Wise.
  7:180 And (all) the most beautiful
Names belong to Allah, so call on Him by
them.
Name:    Ar-Rahman
Meaning: The Most Merciful ; The Benificient


   1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent,
    the Most Merciful .
   55:1 The Most Beneficent (Allah) ;
Name:    Ar-Rahim
Meaning: The Owner of All Mercy ;


   1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the
    Most Merciful .
Name:    Al-Khaliq
Meaning: The Creator

   39:62 Allah is Creator of all things & He is
    Guardian over all things.
   4:62 That is Allah, your Lord, the Creator of all
    things. There is no God but He. Where are you
    then turned away?
   65:12 Allah is He who created seven heavens &
    of the earth the like thereof. His Command
    descends between them , that you may know that
    Allah is Possessor of power over all things, and that
    Allah encompasses all things in (His) knowledge.
Name:    Al-Bari
Meaning: The Maker of Order
   59:24 He is Allah, the Creator, the Maker of all
    things, the Bestower of forms ( shapes ) ; To Him
    belong the Best Names. All that is in the heavens
    and the earth glorify Him & He is the Almighty, the
    Most Wise.
   25:2 He, Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and
    the earth and Who did not take to Himself a son,
    and Who has no associate in the kingdom, and Who
    created everything, then ordained ( decreed ) for it a
    measure.
Name:    Al-Musawwir
Meaning: The Shaper

   59:24 He is Allah, the Creator, the Maker of all
    things, the Bestower of forms( shapes) ; To Him
    belong the Best Names . All that is in the heavens
    and the earth glorify Him. And He is the Almighty,
    the Most Wise.
Name:    Al-Ghaffar
Meaning: The Oft Forgiving

   2:82 And verily, I am indeed Forgiving to him who
    repents , believes ( in My Oneness & associates
    none in worship with Me) & does righteous deeds &
    then remains constant in doing them.(till his death)
   38:66 The Lord of the heavens and the earth & all
    that is between them,the Almighty; Oft Forgiving.
   71:10 I said (to them): Ask forgiveness from your
    Lord ; Verily He is Most Forgiving .
Name:    Al-Qahhar
Meaning: The Subduer

   14:48 On the Day when the earth will be changed
    to another earth & so will the heavens. they (all
    creatures) will appear before Allah ; the One , the
    Subduer.
   40:16 The day when they come forth. Nothing
    concerning them remains hidden from Allah. To
    whom belongs the kingdom this day ? To Allah,
    the One, the Subduer (of all).
Name:    Al-Wahhab
Meaning: The Bestower
   3:08 (They say): Our Lord! Let not our hearts
    deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us,
    and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the
    Bestower.
   38:9 Or have they the treasures of the Mercy of your
    Lord, the Almighty , the Real Bestower?
    38:34 And certainly we tried Solomon, and We put
    on his throne a (mere) body, so he turned (to Allah
    in repentence ).
    38:35 He said: My Lord! Forgive me, and bestow
    upon me a kingdom such as shall not belong to any
    other after me: Verily, You are the Bestower.
Name:    Ar-Razzaq
Meaning: The Provider
   4:64 Allah, it is He Who has made for you the earth
    as a dwelling place & the sky as a canopy & has
    given you shape & made your shapes good
    (looking) & has provided you with good things.
    That is Allah, your Lord, then blessed be Allah, the
    Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns & all that exists).
   51:58 Verily, Allah is the Provider, Owner of
    Power, the Most Strong.( Indeed, it is Allah who is
    the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of
    strength. )
Name: Al-Fattah              Meaning: The Opener

   35:2 That which Allah opens unto mankind of ( His )
    mercy none can withhold it & that which He
    withholds ( of his mercy ) none can release
    thereafter. He is the Almighty, the Most Wise .
Name: Al-Alim           Meaning: The Knower of All
   3:92 You cannot attain to righteousness unless you
    spend out of what you love. And what you spend,
    Allah surely knows it.
   4:35 If you fear a breach between them twain (the
    man and his wife), appoint arbitrators, one from his
    family and the other from her's; if they both wish for
    peace, Allah will cause their reconciliation. Indeed
    Allah is ever Knower of all , well acquainted with
    all things.
   24:41 See you not that Allah is He, Whom do glorify
    all those who are in the heavens and the earth, and
    the birds with wings outspread? Each one knows its
    prayer and its glorification. And Allah is Knower of
    what they do.
Name:    Al-Malik
Meaning: The Absolute Ruler ;The King,
         The Master, The Sovereign Lord
   59:23 He is Allah, besides Whom there is no God ;
    the King , the Holy, the Author of Peace, the Granter
    of Security, Guardian over all, the Mighty, the
    Supreme, the Possessor of greatness. Glory be to
    Allah from that which they set up (with Him)!
Name: Al-Quddus                    Meaning: The Holy


   59:23: He is Allah, besides Whom there is no God ;
    the King , the Holy, the Author of Peace, the
    Granter of Security, Guardian over all, the Mighty,
    the Supreme, the Possessor of greatness. Glory be
    to Allah from that which they set up (with Him)!
   62:1 Whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever
    is on the earth glorifies Allah, the King , the Holy,
    the Almighty, the Most Wise.
Name:    As-Salam
Meaning: The Source of Peace

   10:25: And Allah invites to the Home of Peace
    and guides whom He wills to a straight path . “
   59:23: He is Allah, besides Whom there is no God ;
    the King , the Holy, the Author of Peace, the
    Granter of Security, Guardian over all, the Mighty,
    the Supreme, the Possessor of greatness. Glory be
    to Allah from that which they set up (with Him)!
Name:    Al-Mumin
Meaning: The Inspirer of Faith

   33:41: O you who believe! Remember Allah with
    much remembrance.
   33:42: And glorify Him morning and evening.
    33:43: He it is Who sends blessings on you, and
    (so do) His angels, that He may bring you forth out
    of darkness into light. And He is ever Merciful to the
    believers.
Name: Al-Muhaymin            Meaning: The Guardian

Meaning: The Victorious; The Mighty

   48:07 To Allah belongs all the forces in the heavens
    and the earth. He is Almighty, Most Wise.
   59:23 He is Allah, besides Whom there is no God ;

    of Security, Guardian over all, the Mighty, the
    Supreme, the Possessor of greatness. Glory be to

Name:    Al-Jabbar
Meaning: The Compeller ; Destroyer
  14:13 And those who disbelieved said to their
  messengers: We will certainly drive you out of our
  land, unless you come back into our religion. So
  their Lord revealed to them: We shall certainly
  destroy the wrongdoers ;
  14:14 And indeed, We shall make you dwell in the
  land after them. This is for him who fears standing
  before Me & also fears My Threat ;
  14:15 And they (the Messengers) sought victory and
  help ( from their Lord : Allah ) & every obstinate,
  arrogant dictator ( who refused to believe in the
  Oneness of Allah) was brought to a complete loss &
  destruction.
Name:    Al-Mutakabbir
Meaning: The Greatest ; The Highest
   31:30 This is because Allah is the Truth, and that
    which they call upon besides Him is falsehood, and
    that Allah is the Most High, the Most Great.
   59:23 He is Allah, besides Whom there is no God ;
    the King , the Holy, the Author of Peace, the Granter
    of Security, Guardian over all, the Mighty, the
    Supreme, the Possessor of greatness. Glory be to

Name: Al-Qabid             Meaning: The Constrictor

   2:245: Who is he that will offer to Allah a goodly gift
    so that He may multiply it to him many times? And it
    is Allah that decreases or increases (your
    provisions), and unto Him you shall return.
   29:62: Allah enlarges the provision for whom He
    wills of His slaves, and straitens it for whom (He
    wills). Verily, Allah is the All-Knower of everything.
   30:37: Do they not see that Allah enlarges the
    provision for whom He wills and straitens (it for
    whom He wills). Verily, in that are indeed signs for a
    people who believe.
Name:    Al-Basit
Meaning: The Reliever / Expander

  94:1 Did We not expand for you, [O Muúammad],
  your breast?
  94:2 And We removed from you your burden
  94:3 Which had weighed upon your back
  94:4 And raised high for you your repute.
  94:5 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
  94:6 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
Name:Al-Khafid                 Meaning: The Abaser


 56:1 When the Event (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)
 befalls.
 56:2 And there can be no denying of its befalling.
 56:3 It will bring low (some); (& others) it will exalt ;
 Abasing (some), exalting (others) .
 95:4 Verily, We created man of the best stature
 95:5 Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of
 the low
 95:6 Except those who believe and do good; so
 theirs is a reward never to be cut off.
    Name: Ar-Rafi              Meaning: The Exalter

   58:11 O you who believe, when it is said to you,
    Make room in assemblies, make room. Allah will
    give you ample. And when it is said, Rise up, rise
    up. Allah will exalt those of you who believe, and
    those who are given knowledge, to high ranks. And
    Allah is Aware of what you do.
    06:82 Those who believe and mix not up their faith
    with iniquity ; for them is security and they go aright.
    06:83 And that was Our Proof which We gave
    Ibrahim against his people. We raise whom We
    will in degrees. Certainly your Lord is All-Wise, All-
    Knowing.
Name:    Al-Muizz
Meaning: The Bestower of Honors

   3:26 Say: O Allah! Owner of Sovereignty! You give
    sovereignty unto whom You will, and You withdraw
    sovereignty from whom You will ; You exalt whom
    You will, and You abase whom You will. In Your
    hand is the good.Lo! You are Able to do all things,
    You are Possessor of power over all things.
   4:139 Those who take disbelievers for Auliya'
    (protectors or helpers or friends) instead of
    believers, do they seek honour, power and glory
    with them? Verily, then to Allah belongs all
    honour, power and glory.
Name: Al-Mudhill           Meaning: The Humiliator


   3:26 Say: O Allah! Owner of Sovereignty! You give
    sovereignty unto whom You will, and You withdraw
    sovereignty from whom You will ; You exalt whom
    You will, and You abase whom You will. In Your
    hand is the good. Lo! You are Able to do all things
    ;You are Possessor of power over all things.
   9:2 So go about in the land for four months and
    know that you cannot escape Allah and that Allah
    will disgrace the disbelievers.
Name:    As-Sami
Meaning: The Hearer of All

   2:127 And when Abraham and Ishmael raised the
    foundations of the House ( saying )” Our Lord,
    accept from us; surely You are the Hearing, All-
    Knowing .
   2:256 There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the
    Right Path has become distinct from the wrong
    path. Whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in
    Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy
    handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-
    Hearer, All-Knower.
Name:    Al-Basir
Meaning: The Seer of All

   3:15 Shall I tell you of what is better than these? For
    those who guard against evil are Gardens with their
    Lord, in which rivers flow, to abide in them, pure
    companions and Allah’s goodly pleasure. And Allah
    is Seer of the servants.
   4:58 Verily ! Allah commands that you should render
    back the trusts to those, to whom they are due; and
    that when you judge between men, you judge with
    justice. Verily, how excellent is the teaching which
    He (Allah) gives you! Truly, Allah is ever Hearer,
    Seer of all.
Name: Al-Hakam              Meaning: The Judge


 22:68: And if they contend with you, say: Allah best
 knows what you do.
 22:69: Allah will judge between you on the Day of
 Resurrection about that wherein you used to differ.
Name: Al-'Adl                    Meaning: The Just


   16:90 Surely Allah enjoins justice ; doing of good ;
    giving to the kindred ,& forbids indecency
    (lewdness) & oppression. He admonishes you that
    you may be mindful. “
Name:     Al-Latif
Meaning: The Subtle One
( Knower of finest distinctions )
   6:103 No vision can grasp Him, but His Grasp is
    over all vision. He is the Most Subtle ( Knows all
    fine distinctions ) & Most Gracious, Well-
    Acquainted with all things .
   22:63 See you not that Allah sends down water
    (rain) from the sky, and then the earth becomes
    green? Verily, Allah is the Most Kind and
    Gracious,Well-Acquainted with all things.
   31:16 O my son, even if it be the weight of a grain of
    mustard-seed, even though it be in a rock, or in the
    heaven or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth.
    Surely Allah is Knower of subtilities, Aware.
Name:    Al-Khabir
Meaning: The All-Aware
   06:18 And He is the Irresistible, above His slaves,
    and He is the All-Wise, Well-Acquainted with all
    things.
   17:30 Truly, your Lord enlarges the provision for
    whom He wills and straitens (for whom He wills).
    Verily, He is Ever All-Knower, All-Seer of His slaves.
   59:18 O you who believe! Fear Allah and keep your
    duty to Him. And let every person look to what he
    has sent forth for the morrow, and fear Allah. Verily,
    Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
   67:14 Should not He Who has created know?
    And He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His
    slaves) Aware (of everything).
Name: Al-Halim            Meaning: The Forbearing


   2:263 Kind words and forgiving of faults are better
    than Sadaqah (charity) followed by injury. And Allah
    is Rich and Most Forbearing. ( Lenient , Tolerant )
   35:41 Verily! Allah grasps the heavens and the
    earth lest they move away from their places, and if
    they were to move away from their places, there is
    not one that could grasp them after Him. Truly, He
    is ever Most Forbearing , Oft Forgiving.
Name: Al-Azim             Meaning: The Magnificent


   42:04 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and
    all that is in the earth, and He is the Most High, the
    Most Great.
   56:96 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord,
    the Most Great.
Name:    Al-Ghafur
Meaning: The Forgiver ; Hider of Faults
   2:58: And when We said: Enter this town ; eat
    bountifully there in with pleasure and delight
    whatever you wish, and enter the gate in prostration
    saying : 'Forgive us,' and We shall forgive you your
    sins and shall increase (reward) for the good doers.
    41:30: Those who say, Our Lord is Allah, then
    continue in the right way, the angels descend upon
    them, saying: Fear not, nor be grieved, and receive
    good news of the Garden which you were
    promised.;
     41:31: We are your friends in this world’s life and in
    the Hereafter, and you have therein what your souls
    desire and you have therein what you ask for ;
Name:    Ash-Shakur
Meaning: The Rewarder of Thankfulness

    35:29 Surely those who recite the Book of Allah (
    Holy Quran ) & keep up prayer & spend out of what
    We have given them, secretly & openly, hope for a
    gain which does not perish. ;
     35:30 That He may pay them back fully their
    rewards & give them more out of His Grace. Surely
    He is Oft-Forgiving, Multiplier of reward ,Most
    Appreciative , Responsive.
   35:34 And they will say : All the praises & thanks be
    to Allah, Who has removed from us (all) grief. Verily,
    our Lord is indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to
    appreciate ; Multiplier of reward, Most Appreciative
    .
Name: Al-'Ali                Meaning: The Highest


• 31:3 This is because Allah is the Truth, and that
  which they call upon besides Him is falsehood, and
  that Allah is the Most High, the Most Great.
• 42:4 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and
  all that is in the earth, and He is the Most High, the
  Most Great.
• 42:51 It is not given to any human being that Allah
  should speak to him unless (it be) by Inspiration, or
  from behind a veil, or (that) He sends a Messenger
  to reveal what He wills by His Leave. Verily, He is
  Most High, Most Wise.
Name: Al-Kabir             Meaning: The Greatest


• 13:9 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, the
  Most Great, the Most High .
• 22:62 That is because Allah is the Truth, and that
  which they call upon besides Him : that is the
  falsehood, and because Allah ; He is the Most
  High, the most Great.
Name: Al-Hafiz            Meaning: The Preserver


• 11:57 But if you turn away, then indeed I have
  delivered to you that with which I am sent to you &
  my Lord will bring another people in your place, and
  you cannot do Him any harm. Surely my Lord is the
  Preserver of all things.
• 34:21 And he has no authority over them, but that
  We may know him who believes in the Hereafter
  from him who is in doubt concerning it & Your Lord
  is the Preserver of all things.
Name: Al-Muqit              Meaning: The Nourisher

• 41:10 And He made in it ( earth ) mountains above
  its surface, and He blessed therein and ordained
  therein its foods ( for dwellers ) in four days; alike
  for (all) seekers.
Name: Al-Hasib             Meaning: The Accounter
• 4:6 And try orphans until they reach the age of
  marriage ; if then you find sound judgement in them,
  release their property to them, but consume it not
  wastefully & hastily fearing that they should grow up,
  & whoever amongst guardians is rich, he should
  take no wages, but if he is poor, let him have for
  himself what is just and reasonable . And when you
  release their property to them, take witness in their
  presence; & Allah is Sufficient in taking account.
• 4:86 And when you are greeted with a greeting,
  greet with one better than it, or return it. Surely
  Allah ever takes account of all things.
• 33:39 Those who deliver the messages of Allah and
  fear Him, and fear none but Allah. And Allah is
  Sufficient to take account.
Name: Al-Jalil             Meaning: The Majestic


• 55:27 And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty
  and Honour will abide forever.
• 55:78 Blessed be the Name of your Lord (Allah), the
  Owner of Majesty and Honour.
Name: Al-Karim             Meaning: The Generous


• 57:11 Who is he that will offer to Allah a good gift, so
  He will double it for him, and he will have a generous
  reward ;
  82:06 O man! What has made you careless
  concerning your Lord, the Most Generous ?
  82:07 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and
  gave you due proportion .
Name:    Ar-Raqib
Meaning: The Watchful One
• 4:1 O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created
  you from a single person & from him He created his
  wife & from them both He created many men and
  women and fear Allah through Whom you demand
  your mutual (rights), and wombs (kinship). Surely,
  Allah is ever an Watcher over you.
 5:16 And certainly We created man & We know
 what his mind suggests to him & We are nearer to
 him than his life-vein .
 5:17 When the two receivers receive (recording
 angels) , sitting on the right and on the left .
 5:18 Not a word does he utter, but there is a watcher
 by him ready (to record it).
Name:    Al-Mujib
Meaning: The Responder to Prayer

• 11:61 And to Thamud ( people, We sent) their
  brother Salih . He said : O my people ! Worship
  Allah, you have no other Ilah (God) but Him ; He
  brought you forth from the earth & settled you
  therein , then ask forgiveness of Him and turn to Him
  in repentance. Certainly, my Lord is Near ,
  Responsive.
Name:    Al-Wasi
Meaning: The All-Comprehending

• 3:73 And believe no one except the one who follows
  your religion. Say (O Muhammad SAW): Verily!
  Right guidance is the Guidance of Allah and do not
  believe that anyone can receive like that which you
  have received (of Revelation) except when he
  follows your religion, otherwise they would engage
  you in argument before your Lord. Say (O
  Muhammad SAW): All the bounty is in the Hand of
  Allah; He grants to whom He wills & Allah is
  Sufficient for His creature's needs, the All
  Knower.
Name:    Al-Hakim
Meaning: The Perfectly Wise

• 27:06 And verily, you (O Muhammad pbuh) are
  receiving the Quran from the One, the Most Wise,
  Knower of all.
• 31:27 And if all the trees on the earth were pens and
  the sea (were ink wherewith to write), with seven
  seas behind it to add to its (supply), yet the Words of
  Allah would not be exhausted. Verily, Allah is
  Almighty, the Most Wise.
• 46:02 The revelation of the Book (this Qur'an) is
  from Allah, the Almighty, the Most Wise.
• 57:01 Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth
  glorifies Allah, and He is the Almighty, the Most
  Wise.
Name: Al-Wadud          Meaning: The Loving
One

• 11:90 And ask forgiveness of your Lord and turn
  unto Him in repentance. Verily, my Lord is Most
  Merciful, Most Loving.
• 85:14 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love ; And
  He is the Forgiving, the Loving.
Name:    Al-Majeed
Meaning: The Glorius; The Majestic One

• 55:26 Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish.
• 55:27 And there endures for ever the person of thy
  Lord, the Lord of glory and honour. And the Face of
  your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide
  forever.
Name: Al-Ba'ith         Meaning: The Resurrector



 22:6 That is because Allah, He is the Truth, and it is
 He Who gives life to the dead, and it is He Who is
 Able to do all things.
 22:7 And surely, the Hour is coming, there is no
 doubt about it, and certainly, Allah will resurrect
 those who are in the graves.
Name: Ash-Shahid            Meaning: The Witness


• 41:53 We will show them Our Signs in the universe,
  & in their ownselves, until it becomes manifest to
  them that this (the Qur'an) is the truth. Is it not
  sufficient in regard to your Lord that He is a Witness
  over all things?
• 48:28 He it is Who has sent his Messenger with the
  guidance & the religion of Truth that He may make it
  prevail over all religions. & Allah is enough for a
  witness.
Name: Al-Haqq               Meaning: The Truth

• 22:06 That is because Allah, He is the Truth, and
  He gives life to the dead, and He is Possessor of
  power over all things.
• 24:25 On that day Allah will pay back to them in full
  their just reward, and they will know that Allah, He is
  the Evident Truth.
Name: Al-Wakil             Meaning: The Trustee

• 3:173 Those unto whom men said: Lo! the people
  have gathered against you, therefor fear them but
  increased the faith of them & they cried: Allah is
  Sufficient for us! Most Excellent is He in Whom
  we trust! .
• 6:102 Such is Allah, your Lord! La ilaha illa Huwa
  (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the
  Creator of all things. So worship Him (Alone), and
  He is the Wakil (Trustee, Disposer of affairs,
  Guardian, etc.) over all things.
• 73:09 The Lord of the east and the west, La ilaha illa
  Huwa. So take Him Alone as Wakil (Disposer of
  your affairs).
Name:    Al-Qawi
Meaning: The Possessor of All Strength

 22:73 O mankind! A similitude has been coined, so
 listen to it (carefully): Verily! Those on whom you call
 besides Allah, cannot create (even) a fly, even
 though they all combine together for the purpose.
 And if the fly snatched away a thing from them, they
 would have no power to release it from the fly. So
 weak are (both) the seeker and the sought.
 22:74 They have not estimated Allah His Rightful
 Estimate; Verily, Allah is Most Strong , Almighty.
Name:    Al-Matin
Meaning: The Owner of All Power

• 51:58 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance,
  the Lord of Power, the most Strong ;
• ( Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of
  unbreakable might. ; It is Allah Who is the
  Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. )
Name:    Al-Wali
Meaning: The Patron, Friend ,Helper

• 4:45 Allah has full knowledge of your enemies, and
  Allah is Sufficient as a Wali , and Allah is
  Sufficient as a Helper.
• 7:196 Verily, my Wali (Protector, Supporter, and
  Helper) is Allah Who has revealed the Book (the
  Qur'an), and He protects (supports;helps) the
  righteous ( believers )
Name:    Al-Hamid
Meaning: The Praised One

• 14:8 And Musa (Moses) said: If you disbelieve, you
  and all on earth together, then verily! Allah is Rich
  (Free of all wants), Owner of all Praise.
• 31:12 And certainly We gave Luqman wisdom,
  saying: Give thanks to Allah. And whoever is
  thankful, is thankful for his own soul; and whoever
  denies, then surely Allah is Self-Sufficient,
  Praised.
• 31:26 To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens

• 2:163 And your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (Allah), La
  ilaha illa Huwa (there is none who has the right to be
  worshipped but He), the Most Beneficent, the Most
  Merciful. And your God is one God; there is no God
  but He! He is the Beneficent, the Merciful.

  6:64 Say: Allah delivers you from this and from
  every distress, yet you set up others (with Him).
  6:65 Say: He has the power to send on you a
  chastisement from above you or from beneath your
  feet, or to throw you into confusion, (making you) of
  different parties, and make some of you taste the
  violence of others. See how We repeat the
  messages that they may understand!
• 46:33 See they not that Allah, Who created the
  heavens and the earth and was not tired by their
  creation, is able to give life to the dead? Aye, He is
  surely Possessor of power over all things.

Meaning: The Creator of All Power

• 18:45 And put forward to them the example of the
  life of this world, it is like the water (rain) which We
  send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the
  earth mingles with it, and becomes fresh and green.
  But (later) it becomes dry and broken pieces, which
  the winds scatter. And Allah is Able to do everything.
• 54:42 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized
  them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to
  carry out what he Will (Omnipotent).

  respite you to an appointed term. Verily, the term of
  Allah when it comes, cannot be delayed, if you but

• 16:61 And if Allah were to seize mankind for their
  wrong-doing, He would not leave on it (the earth) a
  single moving (living) creature, but He respites them
  till an appointed term ( delays their reckoning ) and
  when their term comes, neither can they delay nor
  can they advance it an hour (or a moment).

  Allah is the Wali (Helper, Protector) of the dutiful
  : righteous .
• 13:11 For each (person), there are angels in
  succession, before and behind him. They guard him
  by the Command of Allah. Surely Allah changes
  not the condition of a people, until they change their
  own condition. (by committing sins and by being
  ungrateful and disobedient to Allah) But when Allah
  wills a people's punishment, there can be no
  averting it, and they will find besides Him no
  protector.

  sky, and with it brings forth vegetation of all kinds, &
  out of it brings forth green stalks, from which We
  bring forth thick clustered grain. And out of the date-
  palm and its spathe come forth clusters of dates
  hanging low and near, and gardens of grapes, olives
  and pomegranates, each similar (in kind) yet
  different (in variety and taste). Look at their fruits
  when they begin to bear, and the ripeness thereof.
  Verily! In these things there are signs for people who
  believe.

  2:127 And when Ibrahim & Ismail were raising the
  foundations of the House (saying) Our Lord! accept
  from us. Verily! You are the Hearer, the Knower ;
  2:128 Our Lord make us both submissive to You,
  and show us our ways of devotion and turn to us (in
  merci); surely You are the One Who accepts
  repentance, the Most Merciful .
• 9:104 Know they not that Allah accepts repentance
  from His slaves and takes the charities & that Allah
  Alone is the One Who forgives and accepts
  repentance, Most Merciful?
• 110:3 So glorify the Praises of your Lord, and ask for
  His Forgiveness. Verily, He is the One Who
  accepts the repentance and forgives .
Name: Al-Muntaqim          Meaning: The Avenger

• 32:22 And who is more iniquitous than he who is
  reminded of the messages of his Lord, then he turns
  away from them? Surely We exact retribution from
  the guilty.
• 44:16 On the Day when We shall seize you with the
  greatest grasp. Verily, We will exact retribution .

• 4:99 For these there is hope that Allah will forgive
  them, and Allah is Ever Oft Pardoning, Oft-
  Forgiving.
• 110:3 So glorify the Praises of your Lord, and ask for
  His Forgiveness. Verily, He is the One Who
  accepts the repentance and forgives.

Meaning: The Clement ; The Forbearing
• 9:117 Certainly Allah has turned in mercy to the Prophet
  & the emigrants & the helpers who followed him in the
  hour of hardship, after the hearts of a part of them were
  about to deviate; then He turned to them in mercy.
  Surely to them He is Compassionate, Merciful .
  57:9 It is He Who sends down manifest revelations to
  His slave (Muhammad pbuh) that He may bring you out
  from darkness into light. And verily, Allah is to you full of
  kindness, Most Merciful.
  59:10 And those who came after them say: Our Lord!
  Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in
  Faith, and put not in our hearts any hatred against those
  who have believed . Our Lord! You are indeed full of
  kindness, Most Merciful.

• 3:26 Say (O Muhammad pbuh): O Allah! Possessor of
  the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will,
  and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You
  endow with honour whom You will, and You humiliate
  whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are
  Able to do all things .
  36:82 Verily, His Command ; when He intends a thing :
  is only that He says to it : Be ! and lo it is ( done ) ! ;
  36:83 So Glorified is He and Exalted above all that they
  associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion
  of all things , and to Him you shall be returned .

 55:26 Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish ;

• 5:42 (They like to) listen to falsehood, to devour
  anything forbidden. So if they come to you (O

  they cannot hurt you in the least. And if you judge,
  judge with justice between them. Verily, Allah loves
  those who act justly.

• 03:09 Our Lord, surely You are the Gatherer of
  men on a day about which there is no doubt. Surely
  Allah will not fail in (His) promise.

  to gather them together, when He wills .

• 47:38 Behold! you are those who are called to spend in
  Allah’s way; but among you are those who are
  niggardly; and whoever is niggardly, is niggardly against
  his own soul. And Allah is Self-Sufficient and you are
  needy. And if you turn back He will bring in your place
  another people, then they will not be like you.
• 57:24 Such as are niggardly and enjoin niggardliness on
  men. And whoever turns back, then surely Allah is the
  Self-Sufficient , the Praised.
• 22:64 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all
  that is on the earth. And verily, Allah He is Rich (Free
  of all wants), Worthy of all praise.

 67:20 Who is he besides the Most Beneficent that
 can be an army to you to help you ? The
 disbelievers are in nothing but delusion.
 67:21 Who is he that can provide for you if He
 should withhold His provision? Nay, but they
 continue to be in pride, and (they) flee (from the
 truth).

• 6:17 And if Allah touches you with harm, none can
  remove it but He, and if He touches you with good,
  then He is Able to do all things.

Meaning: The Benefactor ;The Source of Good

• 30:37 Do they not see that Allah enlarges the
  provision for whom He wills and straitens ( it for
  whom He wills). Verily, in that are indeed signs for a
  people who believe.

• 24:35 Allah is the Light of the heavens and the
  earth. The parable of His Light is as (if there were) a
  niche and within it a lamp, the lamp is in glass, the
  glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed
  tree, an olive , neither of the east (i.e. neither it gets
  sun-rays only in the morning) nor of the west (i.e.
  nor it gets sun- rays only in the afternoon, but it is
  exposed to the sun all day long), whose oil would
  almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it.
  Light upon Light! Allah guides to His Light whom He
  wills. And Allah sets forth parables for mankind, and
  Allah is All-Knower of everything.

• 22:54 And that those who have been given
  knowledge may know that it (this Qur'an) is the truth
  from your Lord, and that they may believe therein ,
  and their hearts may submit to it with humility. And
  verily, Allah is the Guide of those who believe, to
  the Straight ( Right ) Path.

  earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it:
  Be! - and it is.

  2:256 There shall be no compulsion in the religion.
 The right course has become distinctly clear from
 the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut ( false
 deities,idols, devil etc ) and believes in Allah has
 grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no
 break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing .
  2:257 Allah is the ally of those who believe. He
 brings them out from darknesses into the light. And
 those who disbelieve - their allies are Taghut. They
 take them out of the light into darknesses. Those are
 the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally
 therein.
Name: As-Sabur           Meaning: The Patient One


• 2:153 O you who believe, seek assistance through
  patience and prayer; surely Allah is with the patient.
• 8:46 And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not
  dispute lest you lose courage and your strength
  depart , and be patient ; Surely Allah is with those
  who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones ).
  103:2 Verily Man is in loss,
  103:3 Except those who believe and do good, and
  exhort one another to Truth , and exhort one another
