NotYetFamous Productions Battle of the Bands Pay-to-Play Contract The artist is hereby entering into a pay-to-play contract with NotYetFamous Productions. The artist hereby agrees to sell 20 tickets to the event at $10 per ticket by [date]. Tickets must be sold for $10. For the first 20 tickets sold, the artist will pay the full value of those tickets ($200) to NotYetFamous. For every ticket sold after that, the artist will pay $5 per ticket to NotYetFamous and retain the remaining $5 for themselves. The band can opt out of selling tickets by paying NotYetFamous $200. In this case, profitsplitting will begin immediately. If the band does not sell 20 tickets by the deadline, they will be responsible for paying the difference. Bands will be given 50 tickets to sell and are responsible for the cash value of those tickets. Any unsold tickets must be returned and if the tickets are lost, the cash value of those tickets must be paid to NotYetFamous. If the artist sells all 50 tickets, they may request more tickets upon payment to NotYetFamous for those first 50 tickets. Additional tickets will be given on a first-come-firstserver basis, keeping in mind club capacity. Bands will have 2 weeks to sell the first 20 tickets and the money for those 20 tickets must be received by NotYetFamous one week prior the event. The artist may continue to sell tickets up until 2pm the day of the event, at which point the remaining tickets must be returned and the artist will give NotYetFamous their share of ticket sale proceeds. This contract must be received by NotYetFamous by November 11th to be considered for selection to perform in this event. The artist , if selected to play in the NotYetFamous Battle of the Bands on 2nd of December 2006 at the Parish on 6th St. in Austin, TX, hereby agrees to all of the aforementioned terms.
