									How to Send a Remote Assistance Invitation

Click the Start menu button.

Select Help and Support from the right side of the menu.
Under Ask for assistance, click Invite a friend to connect to your computer with Remote
Assistance.




Next select Invite someone to help you.




Click on Save invitation as a file (Advanced)
Type you name in the Enter you name box and click the Continue button.




Uncheck the box next to Require the recipient to use a password and select Save
Invitation.




Select the Desktop as the location to save the file. It is not necessary to change the name
of the file. If prompted to replace an existing file, choose Yes.




Open your default email program, Outlook client or Outlook (SLOCOE) Web Mail and
send the file as attachment to the technician you are working with.
