Jeff & Kathy Rich 3. SPLASH Bartow: Teens and adults, we need your help to make an even bigger SPLASH in Bartow County this summer. We need prayer, participants, and volunteers. Ways you can serve: Construction Coordinator, Videogra phy & Photography, logistics coordina tion, team leadership, cooking and serving, maintenance, transportation and more. For more information, please call the Associational Office at 770-607-0300. The cost for students attending SPLASH Bartow 2009 will be $45 which includes meals, T-shirt and lodging. If you attend the Leader ship Summit and SPLASH Bartow the cost will be $60. See Craig McClure for a registration form. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER!! 4. If you would like to bring nonperishable items for the Tranquility House, today is the deadline for the month of June. Items will be delivered tomorrow, June 22nd. 5. Come study the book of Acts starting Monday, June 22 at 7:30 pm at the home of James & Mary Meadows 770-382-1980. 6. The Bartow Wind Symphony will be presenting a night of patriotic music on Thursday, July 2nd at the Depot in downtown Cartersville. This concert will be the kickoff to the July 4th festivities. A BIG thank you to all those that helped with Vacation Bible School this past week. God is Awesome!! 8. July 1st: 2nd annual “World’s Largest Banana Split Night” 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Missions: 9. Ice cream will not be sold this evening because of Father’s Day. We will resume selling next Sunday, June 28th. 10. Volunteers are needed to make or donate money for a freezer of ice cream to sell on Sunday evenings. Please see Sherry DeWitte. 11. The Mission Meal for Wednesday night will be chicken casserole, green beans, salad, dinner rolls, dessert, tea, and lemonade. All proceeds go towards missions. 12. WINTER clothes are being collected for a fall mission trip to Appalachia. No summer clothing, please! When the clothes are taken on the trip, there will be no place to store off-season clothing. There is a basket in the foyer for your donation. Thank You Women’s Ministry: 13. Grace Baptist Women’s Ministry will be hosting a Women’s Conference, Saturday, August 8th from 10:00 AM 12:00 PM. Lunch will be served at 12:00 PM. Dr. Brenda Robinson will be speaking about how we can be “Fruitful & Blessed.” Cost of conference will be $15, which includes lunch. Please stop by the Women’s Ministry Table to purchase your ticket. 14. Women’s Ministry Calendar of Events for 2009 is available at the Women’s Ministry Table. Have a Happy Father’s Day!
