Chadder a Big Hit at VBS
Chadder the chipmunk is a loveable little creature that some how always finds a little trouble to get into. Every Day during Chadder’s Show students get to watch a brief video clip of that day’s adventures. After Vicar Josh shows the video clip students have the opportunity to discuss what has happened in the video and talk about how it applies to their lives. Chadder never seems to figure things out until the very end. Be sure to ask your child what adventures occurred today!

The Snack Shack Made By Students
A snack is served every day during Vacation Bible School. Each day the snack is made by a different classroom. On Monday the classes of the Raccoons and the Fireflies made “burning bush”. It is a messy experience, but it also provides a hands on service project. Sharon VanDomelen this year is our Snack Shack section leader. Along with her helpers every day, they will be providing a different themed snack. Be sure to ask your students what they ate today!

An offering is collected at the registration table. Collection from this years offering will go to offset the cost of VBS and will be used in the mission project. There is a special closing every day at 11:20am in the church that all parents are welcome to attend.

A short program will be held in the church on the last day, Friday June 12th at 11:15AM. During this closing program, Mrs. Nicole and puppets will review what happened during the week at VBS. Students will sing a variety of songs and pictures from the week will be shown. Following the program there will be an in-
door picnic of hot dogs, potato chips, and drinks. Parents and family members, including grandparents and friends are invited to attend. There will be a free will offering for the picnic to help with the expenses. Check out pictures online– www. bethanykaukauna.org
Be sure to mark your calendars...special Thursday church service
Thursday night during the 6:30pm church service the VBS children will be singing the theme song that they have learned this week. We invite you and your family to attend this service as your child sings the praises of their Lord and Savior. The children are asked to sit with their parents until it is time in the service to sing their song. After singing, they are able to sit back in the pews with their families. Every family that attends Vacation Bible School will/has received a CD of all of the fun VBS songs. Be sure to listen to the songs every day!
