Maersk Line, one of the world’s leading container shipping companies and part of

educates self motivated individuals on the global activities of the entire APMM

What will the MLGP offer?

The program is designed in a way so as to impart through knowledge of the liner
industry, a hands-on experience of the different processes in the company. The
main objective is to give you a platform to excel and accelerate your growth
within the organisation through a structured approach of on-the-job rotations,
theoretical interventions through workshops, e-learning, seminars and exposure
to senior management in a global network.

Being part of a global shipping programme, you will meet your fellow Maersk Line
Graduate Programme participants from all over the world in various seminars
where you will receive leadership and cross-functional training. In addition, you
will also participate in e-based case studies and business simulations. Upon
completion of the Maersk Line Graduate Programme, we envisage that you will be
ready to take up a managerial position where you will continue to develop your
leadership skills to further your A.P. Møller - Maersk career.

Are you MLGP material?

We are looking for high potential individuals with an attitude of excellence who
have a genuine interest in creating a career in shipping. The following criteria are
essential:

      Possession of a Master’s degree in a Business related discipline.
      2-5 years work experience, via internships, industry placements or other
       relevant jobs.
      An international mindset – any previous extensive personal travel will be
       highly regarded.
      Drive, leadership abilities, business acumen, team understanding, maturity
       and humility.
Application Process

The 2011 program is due to commence in mid-September. We expect to hire one
trainee in Australia. It is possible that you will be relocated, at company expense,
to any of our interstate offices at any time during the two years of your practical
training, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential. Please note that
a valid work visa or Australian citizenship is required.

working rights in Australia (copy of your birth certificate, passport or visa). Note
