The First Trimester

The Second Trimester

A Biblical Perspective

White Throne of Judgment

“Opening Comments”

If you coalesce the atrocities perpetrated by Joseph
Stalin and Adolf Hitler, who are recognized for
killing millions of people, I believe they pale in
comparison to the worldwide mass murders of
unborn babies. Simply visit our widely utilized
internet search engine,, and
“google/image” the word “fetus”, if you can stomach
these sobering images of wrong these CHILDREN

I am of the opinion that perhaps the greatest sin
mankind has perpetrated upon its own kind is
the murder of millions of babies yet in the
womb. I refer to these peoples in the womb as
babies because I find the word fetus to be cold
and greatly insignificant. Meaning simply that is
easier to kill something that is called a fetus,
than a fleshly warm body that is called a human
baby. I also find that the word abortion lacks the
blow and implication that the word murder thus
rightly conveys. Thus, we should rightly refer to

this sinful debacle as: “murder of babies and not
the abortion of fetuses.”

The irony of all this is that we all started as a
one-cell baby. “Conception” simply means that a
man’s sperm has fertilized a woman’s egg.
Within (24) hours the egg begins to divide and
develop rapidly. A few days later a group of
cells reach the womb (uterus). In one week after
conception, this group of cells increases to
hundreds of cells and attach themselves to the
wall of the womb where the baby continues to
grow rapidly. This group of cells is called the
embryo. Here again I prefer to call the embryo
the baby, as I want to be technically correct in
the fact that we are dealing with a real live
human being that is being created in the image
of God!

“The First Trimester”

The first trimester starts in the fourth week…
“However,” in the short span of six weeks the
baby is about ½ inch and is already displaying a
head and a torso. Visual signs of arms and legs
are developing at this stage. A blood vessel has
developed and formed and begins to pump
blood. This vessel will eventually develop into
the heart and circulatory system. Also at this
time, a ridge of tissue will develop into the brain
and spinal cord.

Within 8 weeks the heart develops four
chambers. Fingers and toes begin to bud. The
baby starts to move as the brain and nervous
system develop. Also, at this stage, eyes, ears,
jaws, stomach, lungs, intestines, and liver start to

Within 10 weeks the baby is around 1-1/4 inch
long. The start of all key body parts are present,
but they are not completed. Body parts that will
form into ears, eyes, and legs can be made out.
Also, as muscles and skeleton are developing the
nervous system becomes more responsive.

At 12 weeks the fingers and toes have nails. Hair
begins to develop. The little heart can be
detected with a heart monitor. All the baby’s
external features have appeared. Also, the
baby’s muscles continue to develop.

At 14 weeks the baby begins to swallow. The
kidneys make urine, and blood begins to form in
the bone marrow. There are eyelids and the nose
is developing a bridge. Joints and muscles allow
full body movements.

“Second Trimester”

In a short four months (sixteen weeks) the
baby’s head is erect and the arms and legs are
developed. Limb movements become more
pronounced. Hair begins to grow on the head.

In the short span of eighteen weeks all the body
and facial features are now recognizable. The
baby begins to stretch out and kick. Finally, and
without a doubt, “this is a baby”…a blessing
from God!

In 18 weeks the baby is about 5 ½ inches long
and weighs about 7 ounces. The skin is
transparent and the ears are clearly visible. The
baby can grasp and move its mouth. The baby
begins to kick. Women can honestly say without
ambiguity, “there is life in me.”

At 20 weeks the baby is about 6 ½ inches lone
and weighs about 12 ounces. All organs have
been formed, and a period of growth begins. A
protective skin coating, called vernix, is
beginning to develop.

At 22 weeks the baby is about 8 inches long and
weighs about one pound. The baby now has
fingerprints and maybe some head and body
hair. The baby may suck its thumb and is more
active. The brain is growing rapidly. The baby’s
heartbeat can be easily heard. The kidneys start
to work. At 23 weeks (5 ½ months),
approximately 31% of babies born survive.

At 24 weeks the baby is about 8 ½ inches long
and weighs about 1¼ pounds. The baby hears
mother’s sound such as breathing, heartbeat and
voice. The first layers of fat begin to form. The
baby starts to gain substantial weight. At 25
weeks, approximately 68% of babies born
survive. However, babies born from 23 weeks
and 25 weeks usually require intensive care.

At 26 weeks the baby is about 8 inches long and
weighs about 2 pounds. The baby can respond to
sounds inside and outside the womb. The baby
now wakes and sleeps. About 87% of the babies
born at this stage survive. However, they do
require intensive care.

At 28 weeks, the baby is about 10 inches long
and weighs about 2 pounds. The eyes are
partially open and perceive light. More than
90% of babies born at this stage will survive.

At 30 weeks the baby is about 10 ½ inches long
and weighs about 3 pounds. The lungs are
capable of breathing air, although medical help
may be needed. The baby can open and close its
eyes, suck its thumb, cry and respond to sound.
Most babies born at this stage will survive.

At 32 weeks the baby is about 11 inches long
and weighs about 3 pounds, 12 ounces. The
baby’s development now centers on growth.
Almost all babies born at this stage survive.

At 34 weeks the baby is about 12 inches long
and weighs 4 ½ pounds. Eyes open during alert

times and close during sleep. Again, almost all
babies born at this stage survive.

At 36 weeks the baby is about 13 inches long
and weighs about 5 to 6 pounds. Muscle tone
has developed and baby can turn and lift its

At 38 weeks the baby is about 14 inches long
and weighs about 6 ½ pounds. Lungs are mature
and the baby turns toward light sources.

At 40 weeks the baby is about 15 inches long
and may weigh about 7 ½ pounds. The baby has
more than 70 reflex behaviors, which are
automatic behaviors necessary for survival. The
baby is full term and ready to be born. The baby
comes forth created in the image of God (Jesus).

           “A Biblical Perspective”

Jesus Christ himself went through the same
process that all babies go through in their pursuit
to a God given life. All life is sacred and it must
be protected from the moment of its conception.
No one, but no one, has the right to snuff out life
that has been gifted by God. Only God can give
life and all life belongs to Him and to Him only.
The act of abortion (murder) is simply an
immoral and rebellious act against God himself.
Basically, the act of abortion (murder) is a
horrific act and a selfish statement that reaches
the very Throne of God. Abortion is the
demonical shedding of blood…. And the
“statement” is: “God,” I will do it my way and
not your way!

The baby in the womb has done nothing that
deserves death. “On the contrary,” the baby
deserves life because God has a divine purpose
for each, and every one of us. It is God’s desire
that none shall perish but that all come to
everlasting life.

Jesus said: Matt 25:40

40 And the King shall answer and say unto
them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have
done it unto one of the least of these my
brethren, ye have done it unto me.

All abortionists when they come before the Lord
will hear His voice saying unto them: As ye have
done it unto one of the least of these my
brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Any way you look at it, it is wrong to take the
life of an unborn child. God tells us in Exodus:

Ex 20:13
You shall not murder.

And in Psalm 127:3, God’s Word informs us
that children are a gift of God: they are His

Ps 127:3-5

3 Children are a gift from the LORD;
they are a reward from him.
4 Children born to a young man
are like sharp arrows in a warrior's hands.
5 How happy is the man whose quiver is full of
He will not be put to shame when he confronts
his accusers at the city gates.

In Psalms 139 we are told how wonderfully and
delicately God makes us in the womb:

Ps 139:13-18

13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my
body and knit me together in my mother's womb.

14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully
complex! Your workmanship is marvelous —
and how well I know it. 15 You watched me as I
was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was
woven together in the dark of the womb. 16 You
saw me before I was born. Every day of my life
was recorded in your book. Every moment was
laid out before a single day had passed.
17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O
God! They are innumerable! 18 I can't even
count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up in the morning, you are still
with me!

Job, also tells us that it is God that has made us
in the womb:

Job 31:14-15
4 What then shall I do when God rises up?
When He punishes, how shall I answer Him?
15 Did not He who made me in the womb make
Did not the same One fashion us in the womb?

The wonderful thing is that God knows us even
before He forms us in the womb:

Jer 1:5

5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;
and before thou camest forth out of the womb I
sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet
unto the nations.

So it is God that hath made us from the moment
of conception and not we ourselves:

100:1 A Psalm of praise.

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with

3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us,
and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with
praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth
endureth to all generations.

“White Throne of Judgment”

“Woe” unto you abortionists (doctors, nurses,
assistants, supporters, participants) for your
hands are indelibly stained with the precious
blood of those Jesus calls “the least of me.”
“Woe” unto them that vote for Judges and
Politicians that support abortion. “Woe” unto
you Supreme Court for ruling on the side of
murder. Soon, all of you with your blood
stained hands will be standing before the “White
Throne of God.” You will not be greeted with
acclimation for it will be required of you to
explain and justify the innocent blood staining

your hands…for you have murdered the most
“vulnerable of the vulnerable.” There will be no
justification for evil, even under the best
circumstances, evil in any form, cannot be
justified and/or accepted! The acceptance of
murder would render God’s Word null and void
and result in the implosion of all God’s Laws
and Goodness—and this is not going to happen!
“No, not ever, will it happen.” God will educe
your transgressions from the very babies you
have murdered and He will adduce your sin
before you. “I judge you not, “but God’s Word
judges you> and you will be found: “Guilty.”
“Guilty of mass murder in the first degree.”
“Woe unto you, abortionists” for soon you will
find yourself in the Lake of Fire for all eternity!

Rev 20:11-15

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that
sat on it, from whose face the earth and the
heaven fled away; and there was found no place
for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand
before God; and the books were opened: and
another book was opened, which is the book of
life: and the dead were judged out of those
things which were written in the books,
according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in
it; and death and hell delivered up the dead
which were in them: and they were judged every
man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of
fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the
book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The Word of God (Bible) goes on to say:

Matt 18:2-7

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst
of them,3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted,

and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom
of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the
same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name
receiveth me.

6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in
me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his
neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that
offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

The Bible (Word of God) speaks about the six-
no- seven things God hates:

Prov 6:16-19

16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea,
seven are an abomination unto him:

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that
shed innocent blood,

18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations,
feet that be swift in running to mischief,

19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that
soweth discord among brethren.

Let me say, “however” under the “Age of Grace
(New Testament) all sins are forgiven:

Rom 5:20-6:1

Rom 5:20-21
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence
might abound. But where sin abounded, grace
did much more abound:

21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so
might grace reign through righteousness unto
eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Gasoline, turpentine, heavy-duty soap, paint
remover, and the like are not sufficient enough
to remove the blood from murderous hands.
Ironically, there is nothing in this universe that
can remove the blood other than the “Blood.”
Only the indelible spiritual Blood of Jesus can
remove the indelible carnal sinful blood of an
abortionist. The Blood forever removes all sins
without exception.

The person who is suffering shame from
abortion must first repent. You must, above all
things, accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
For all have sinned and come short of the Glory
of God. Let’s see what the Bible says about

Rom 3:23-26

23 For all have sinned; all fall short of God's
glorious standard. 24 Yet now God in his
gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He has
done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us
by taking away our sins. 25 For God sent Jesus

to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy
God's anger against us. We are made right with
God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood,
sacrificing his life for us. God was being entirely
fair and just when he did not punish those who
sinned in former times. 26 And he is entirely fair
and just in this present time when he declares
sinners to be right in his sight because they
believe in Jesus.

Rom 8:8-14

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please

9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if
so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if
any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none
of his.

10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead
because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus
from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up
Christ from the dead shall also quicken your
mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to
the flesh, to live after the flesh.

13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but
if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of
the body, ye shall live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God.

Rom 10:8-13

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even
in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word
of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that
God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt
be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth
on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew
and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich
unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of
the Lord shall be saved.
1 John 1:7-10

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light,
we have fellowship one with another, and the
blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from
all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive
ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make
him a liar, and his word is not in us.

After you have accepted Christ as Lord and
Savior forget the past because God has forgiven

Phil 3:12-13

12 Not as though I had already attained, either
were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I
may apprehend that for which also I am
apprehended of Christ Jesus.

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have
apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting
those things which are behind, and reaching
forth unto those things which are before,

The next step is to pray for guidance and the
needed bravery to face all that is ahead of you.
God loves you very much and it is His will that
none shall perish, but that all come into
everlasting life. “God will forgive you.”
