    Marc Belloli is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on patent infringement litigation though his
    trial experience extends to real estate and civil rights cases. Mr. Belloli has represented clients in
    numerous patent infringement and other intellectual property related lawsuits throughout the United
    States, including cases in California, Delaware Florida, Maine, New York, Washington, Texas and
    before the International Trade Commission.


    Mr. Belloli has litigated or tried patent cases involving a variety of technologies, including medical
    devices, computers, Internet applications, laser inscription, semiconductor fabrication and mobile
    handsets. He has overseen the day-to-day management of numerous patent litigation matters
    on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants, has handled Markman hearings (and briefing related
    thereto), motions for summary judgment, trials and appeals.


Representative Matters
Patent
Lazare Kaplan Int’l, Inc. v. Gemological Institute of America (“GIA”) et al.
Represented GIA through a favorable jury trial and a favorable bench trial. GIA received favorable verdicts of non-
infringement and invalidity at the jury trial and inequitable conduct by the plaintiff and exceptional case at the bench
trial. GIA was awarded its costs and attorneys’ fees following these verdicts. The asserted patents concerned
technology related to laser inscription.

Ergo Licensing, LLC v. CareFusion 303, Inc.
Represented CareFusion in a patent infringement action in the US District Court for the District of Maine. The as-
serted patent concerns infusion pumps. Judgment was entered in favor of CareFusion following a Markman order
where all of the asserted claims were found to be invalid due to indefiniteness.

Sun Microsystems v. Network Appliance; Network Appliance v.
Sun Microsystems (Northern District of California)
Represented Sun in three separate patent infringement actions where more than 30 patents were collectively as-
serted involving processors, servers, networking and storage technology.

Represented IMX in a patent infringement action in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida. The
asserted patent concerns technology related to applying for loans over the Internet.

Coloplast A/S v. GMD, Inc.
Represented GMD in a patent infringement action in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington.
The asserted patents concern methods for treating female urinary incontinence.

CareFusion 303, Inc. v. Sigma International
Represented CareFusion in a patent infringement action in the US District Court for the Southern District of Cali-
fornia. The asserted patent concerns technology related to force sensors in infusion pumps.

Techshell, Inc. v. Speculative Product Design, Inc.
Represented Speculative in a patent infringement, trademark, false advertising and unfair competition action in
the US District for the Northern District of Florida. The asserted patent concerns protective covers for notebook
computers.

Resonance Tech., Inc. v. NordicNeuroLab AS
Represented NordicNeuroLab in a patent infringement action in the US District Court for the Central District of
California. The asserted patents concerned MRI technology.
