English Grammar Connection: Adjectives are words that describe nouns.
In English, the adjective almost always comes before the noun. In Spanish, the
adjective usually comes after the noun

Noun-Adjective Agreement
In Spanish, adjectives match the gender and number of the nouns they
describe.
Here’s how:

  ● Adjectives that end in -e el maestro inteligente
    match both genders
                                        la maestra inteligente
  ● Many adjectives that end in a el amigo joven
    consonant match both
    genders. la amiga joven

  ● Some adjectives that end in a el trabajador
consonant add -a to form the
feminine singular. These la chica trabajadora
    exceptions have to be
    memorized.
  ● To make an adjective plural, las chicas
add -s if it ends in a vowel; trabajadoras
add -es if it ends in a
    consonant. los chicos
                                        trabajadores
