Odd and Even Flower Power
Directions:
1. Roll 2 dice.
2. Add them together.
3. If the sum is even, write the sum on an even flower petal. If the
   sum is odd, write the sum on an odd flower petal.
4. Once all the petals are filled up in one of the flowers, that
   flower wins.

Odd and Even Flower Power
Teacher Directions:
1. Print each of the flowers on cardstock for durability.
2. Laminate or put in a sheet protector so students can write on
   it.
3. Each pair of students playing the game will need 2 dice (number
   or dots) and a set of the flowers. The odd and even vocabulary
   cards are optional. You may also want to have 20-30 unifix
   cubes available so students can explore the numbers.

Odd and Even Flower Power
Ideas to Differentiate:
•   To make it easier, students can pull number cards from a bag instead of adding dice together.
•   To make it more difficult, students can add 2 or 3 dice together to make it more difficult.
•   To be sure they understand the concept, students can build the numbers with unifix cubes to
    partner up the numbers and decide if they are even or odd.
