What types of sharp instrument should be included?

Any instrument used as weapon that actually pierces the skin should be included,
and the type of offence should be recorded according to the Home Office counting
rules

In cases of uncertainty, and where a sharp instrument is used as a threat or attempt,
the following list should be used as a guide. In all cases, the threat should be
specifically to commit an offence where the skin is likely to be pierced.
