Recruitment and retention best practices – The recruitment and retention best practices document was transformed into a portion of the marketing and recruitment section of the forthcoming Living Well Program Guidebook. The Living Well Program Guidebook will be mailed out to all Living Well coordinators early next week. Spanish language marketing materials – Revision to the NCOA Spanish language marketing materials is complete and templates have been posted online. Posters and brochures are available free of charge from the Oregon Living Well program. Images to update Living Well statewide brochure and poster The information that John Beilenson provided about the need for consistency in marketing a program – specifically, that once people start to seem bored or in need of new material, that this means that you are finally getting recognition in the community. The group determined that a few minor changes to the brochure and poster would be a suitable option. Specifically, moving the cover page of the brochure around so the program name is on top and the photo is on the bottom (better for brochure racks that cover the bottom), making the title into an action statement, and changing the image on the front of the brochure. The workgroup agreed that we should maintain the gender and ethnic diversity that is captured in the current brochure. April and Cara will work on a few mock-ups of the brochure given these specifications and will send to the group for feedback in the coming week. Final versions will need to be confirmed before the end of March. Scheduling future conference calls Cara has conflicts during our regular meeting time in 2010 and will follow up in an email to regular workgroup members about potential new times – possible suggestions are Wednesday or Thursday mornings.
