These loans are available as a result of President Bush’s Disaster Declaration for Public Assistance resulting from damages caused by severe storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides April 14 – 18, 2007. PNPs located in the counties of Barbour, Boone, Cabell, Gilmer, Grant, Hardy, Lewis, Lincoln, Logan, McDowell, Mingo, Pendleton, Pocahontas, Putnam, Upshur, Wayne, Webster and Wyoming in the State of West Virginia are eligible to apply to SBA. Examples of eligible non critical PNP organizations include, but are not limited to, food kitchens, homeless shelters, museums, libraries, community centers and colleges. Eligible private non-profit organizations may qualify for loans up to $1.5 million. These loans are for permanent repair and/or replacement work. Loan amounts and terms are set by SBA and are based upon each applicant’s financial condition. The deadline to apply for these loans is July 2, 2007.
