          UCLA Full Mission Statement Our Association Mission Musical Adoption Program Full Mission Statement
   Our club’s mission this year is to help better our community and raise monies for our wonderful scholarship program that helps
  selected IE kids attend UCLA and to support the Musical Dogs Adoption Program, an organization dedicated to helping to increase
   animal adoptions so needed and improve the sad overcrowded conditions of all Inland Empire local animal shelters by putting on
adoption events that include music, and help support spay and neutering to reduce the population of animals at various shelters within
            Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, expanding throughout southern California, and eventually nationwide.
                                                                      The Vision
   To ensure the future generations attend UCLA and to enrich the development of this robust and community changing plan of the Musical Dogs Adoption
 program for the animals within the Riverside and San Bernardino Counties that will become the lead for other UCLA Alumni Chapters to implement within
                                                    their charter for an overall national collaboration.
                                                             How will the program work?
  UCLA Inland Empire Bruins Alumni Club creatively developed fundraising events to accomplish the goals, and our biggest one will be our 1st Annual Golf
                                                           Inland Empire
Tournament on August 1, 2011, sponsored by the fabulous Red Hill Country Club in Rancho Cucamonga, California, with many other fun gatherings planned,
                                                              Chapter
 including monthly “Poker” nights, all to raise money for scholarships and the Musical Dogs Adoption Program to help them offset animal adoptions, put on
                                                               Annual
                                                            and develop
                       events to help encourage adoptions Tournament a way to help shelters, and people, with the spay and neuter costs.
  Statistics from the selected animal shelter will be requested to illustrate a comparison from the previous to current year change in trends, based on UCLA
                                                          Inland Empire Bruin’s Alumni Club’s support.
                                                         PLEASE HELP US CHANGE THESE NUMBERS!
                                  Humane Society of the United States Statistics regarding pet over population, Each year . . .
                                                    6-8 Million (HSUS estimate) cats and dogs enter shelters.
                                            3-4 Million (HSUS estimate) cats and dogs are put to death by shelters.
                                             3-4- Million (HSUS estimate) cats and dogs are adopted from shelters.
                                                               Animal Adoptions
Reduce the adoption price of the animal adoptions for the following programs or types: Medically or Physically Disabled and Seniors, and giving
                                               “Care Packages” that will include UCLA Branding.
                                                                Spay and Neuter
 Off set spay and neuter costs to reduce the over population of animals to provide for surgical programs by: Working with local veterinarians,
                                          holding Spay and Neuter Day Event at a local animal shelters.

                 Focus for 2011: Create Events to Encourage Adoptions and Raise Funds! To Establish These Actions Listed Above.

                  Dear Friends and Businesses: Future Students, And Today’s Shelter Animals Need Your Support
Our UCLA Inland Empire Bruin’s Alumni Club serves all of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties and has decided to support as our
cause this year, along with our wonderful scholarship program, to support the Musical Dog Adoption Program, an organization located
  in Corona, California that within seven months by holding musical concerts and having shelters bring their dogs to their shows got
      homes for over 600 dogs that were in danger of being put to sleep. (With Your Support This Year We Hope For Thousands Re-Homed)
 This year this group plans to help many of the Inland Empire Shelters with spay and neuter costs, help seniors and disabled people to
  afford a companion of their own, while developing and ongoing relationship with our school system to provide students with much
needed information regarding the plight of our companions. And of course create events to continue to encourage good people to adopt
                  from shelters. Their service can save thousands of dogs. (Which Is Why We Have Elected To Support Them)

And, we would be honored to have you be a part of this community effort, become involved in our 1st UCLA IE Bruins Alumni Club Golf
                                                  Inland 2011,
              Tournament held on Monday, August 1st, Empireheld at and sponsored by the fabulous Red Hill Country Club.
   All contributions are split evenly between our two primary important causes. And, not only will your contribution help IE students

attend UCLA, you will save the lives of animals and Annual
                                                      gain recognition from our outstanding media exposures, including being recognized
                                                   Tournament
     on our club’s website; you will be celebrated at the Hospitality booths at the Tournament, your name included in all “Dog Care
 Packages” given at adoptions program events, and be given thanks on the Press Enterprise’s Pet Channel in the Musical Dog Adoption
                                                Programs Blog, Website, and Facebook etc.
 You will also be exposed and reach UCLA Alumni across the globe, the world of people who care about the animals of our planet, and
continue to be distinguished as a person who cares about the welfare of animals, and the continuance of UCLA Education Sponsorship.
                                                Your benefits will continue on for a lifetime.

The support from people / businesses like you, Angel Donors as we see you, will mean that together we can accomplish saving thousands

 Each month beginning in August, 2011 an adoption and spay/neuter event will be held at a selected local shelter, to help each IE shelter
                                               Tournament
           possible with Re-Homing their animals. Events Will Be Funded By The Musical Dogs Adoption Program Funds.

                                                      Musical Truckin Dog Shows
 Begins March 8th, and continues every Tuesday, all day, at one of the largest truck stops in the nation, The TravelCenters Of America-
   East Ontario, CA where dogs are brought to this location and adopted by truckers from all across the nation, and a music concert
                          happens at the end of the evening celebrating the wonderful adoptions of the day.

                                                            TV Reality Show
The Musical Dogs Adoption Program Is In development with RFD TV, a show that will capture the process of getting the dogs adopted at
            the various shows, and to show the love that exists for people and their animals. To Create National Awareness.
