in the following table are based on the bending due to the HIT-balcony connections          Note: The limit of the bending

Spacing between joints
Expansion joints have to be installed perpendicular to the thermal isolation strip of the
HIT-elements on external concrete slabs (balcony slabs) according to the official
approval certificate. The spacing between the joints must be not exceed 11,30 m.

Spacing of installation

According to the official approval certificate the spacing between the tension- and
compression bars must be at least 5 cm and it may not exceed 50% of the
permissible maximum spacing (0,5 × 30 cm).
