five day combined direct Access**
Riders must already hold their CBT and currently ride a motorcycle on
the road or take part in off-road motorcycling. On day one, you must

a geared 125cc motorcycle on the road, so that you can be upgraded
to the BMW F 650 GS or G 650 Xcountry on the same day. The Five

of instructors, headed by seven-time Dakar Rally competitor Simon
Pavey – as seen here on his competition bike.

In response to our customers comments, we have worked hard
to develop the 2010 Off Road Skills programme to create a more
streamlined structure across the skills range. Level One is definitely
the place for everyone to start, with all the fun and challenges of riding
off-road presented in a structured course. There is now a smoother
transition to Level Two GS and Level Two Enduro, with the emphasis
being on riding time and practicing new skill sets, finishing with a final
challenge of your new-found skills in our trials section! Both Level Two
courses require similar technical ability, the difference is simply one of
choice – your choice – Adventure style GS or Enduro!

The key skills required to complete the trials section, are also the entry
point for Level Three GS and Level Three Enduro – you will certainly
enjoy the challenges of our new style Level Three courses. Whether
riding GS or Enduro, each level will balance new skills and revision, with
more trail time as your skills and fitness improve through the levels.

Motorrad days and
the ultimate test ride
Approx dates: 30 June – 09 July 2010
For 2010 we have combined the popular BMW Motorrad Days event
with an excursion to Austria to stay at a BMW biker hotel in the Austrian
Alps. Each year we travel to Garmisch Partenkirchen in southern
Germany for the BMW Motorrad Days biker rally – a chance for up to
40,000 BMW owners to converge, meet up, and see some spectacular
demonstration rides. There will also be a chance to take part in mass
ride-outs and enjoy the hospitality of the huge beer tent in the evenings.

This 13 day tour will start at Folkestone with an early morning Eurotunnel
crossing to Nancy. From here, we will ride straight to Garmisch, crossing
the stunning Vosges mountains and the southern Black Forest. Days
three, four and five will be free to enjoy all BMW Motorrad Days has to
offer, such as ride-outs, demonstrations, excellent food tents and much
more. On the afternoon of day five we leave Garmisch and travel into
Austria to Landeck. Here, you will get the opportunity to spend three
days test riding a wide range of current BMW models on some of the
best biking roads in Europe.

The final leg of the journey will be from Landeck to Nancy, before riding
back from Nancy to Calais on days nine and ten.

 Monza, World Superbikes
 and the italian lakes
 Approx dates: 05 – 12 June 2010
This tour was introduced in 2009 to celebrate and support BMW’s
participation in the World Superbike Championship. Having proved such
a hit, we will be repeating the Tour in 2010. After a successful debut
season, with Troy Corser and Ruben Xaus heading up the BMW Motorrad
Motorsport team’s assault on the championship, the objective for 2010
will be to consolidate BMW’s position as a regular front runner in this
competitive race series. However, there will be more than just racing on
this trip. The tour will also appeal to those looking for a medium length
ride through Europe, discovering great biking roads, Italy’s stunning lakes,
wonderful locations for the evenings and friendly company.

The eight day tour will start with a crossing from Dover to Calais. From
there we will head through the towns and regions of Troyes, Interlaken,
Como, Champagne and the Black Forest. Highlights of the tour will without
a doubt be Race Day on day five, where tour participants will see the
mighty S 1000 RR race bike in action at arguably the world’s most historic
and picturesque race circuit – Monza*. Equally, the spectacular riding to
and from the beautiful Italian lakes will make this a BMW Tour
 to remember.
