SRI showcases AMIMON’s WHDI HD Wireless Video
Technology at Embedded World

WHDI Provides a High Quality, Robust, Real-time HD Wireless
Connection for Variety of Applications

Embedded World, Nuremberg, Germany – March 1, 2011 –
AMIMON, the market leader in wireless HDTV semiconductor
solutions and SRI Radio Systems GmbH, a specialist in electronic
and RF products, today announced the collaboration in developing
RF modules and products based on the WHDI™ (Wireless Home
Digital Interface™) technology. SRI will demonstrate WHDI at the
2011 Embedded World show in its booth, Hall 9 booth #466. The
Embedded World show is in Nuremberg Germany and runs March
1-3.

At Embedded World SRI will showcase the ability to embed and
integrate the WHDI technology into small form factor devices with
low power consumption addressing consumer electronics,
industrial, automotive, medical and other applications. SRI is
developing wide range of solutions based on the WHDI technology
and will offer its WHDI modules and services to customers
worldwide.

AMIMON’s wireless technology is the basis of the WHDI™
(Wireless Home Digital Interface™) standard. The WHDI standard
delivers the highest image quality for in-room and multi-room HD
wireless connections, including uncompressed 1080p/60Hz HD
video, at no delay. WHDI utilizes a 40MHz channel in the 5GHz
unlicensed band. WHDI includes support for the 3D formats
required by the HDMI™ 1.4a specification and range of over 30
meters through obstacles and walls. WHDI supports HDCP
revision 2.0, providing superior security and digital content
protection.
