   Welcome to the Jackson County Courthouse, and thank
    you for participating in jury service. Your answers on the
    following pages will greatly help the Court with the jury
    selection process. Below are a few tips and reminders for
    you as you fill out the document.
   The purpose of this questionnaire is to gather information about
    you. We are simply looking for your most open and honest
    answers about your own attitudes, beliefs and experiences.
    There are no right or wrong answers in this process.
   If you need help filling out the questionnaire, please ask the
    court assistants, and a personal aide will assist you.
   All the information that you provide will be confidential and only
    used for the jury selection process. This questionnaire will not
    be a public record and will not be available for inspection for
    anyone other than the judge and the attorneys. At the end of
    the trial, all of the questionnaires will be returned to the judge
    and kept in his possession.
   Each question is important. Please take time to read each
    question and think about your honest answer.

   This lawsuit involves issues related to the redevelopment of the
    President Hotel and the surrounding block. The President Hotel is
    located at 14th and Baltimore, downtown Kansas City. The plaintiffs in
    this lawsuit are, Mr. Ronald D. Jury, President Hotel, LC, Jury &
    Associates, Inc., President Development Group, Inc., Ronald D. Jury
    Trust, Plaza 45 LC, Ronald D. Jury, and, The President LC. The
    defendants in the lawsuit are Mr. Donald E. Longwell, Jr. and the law firm
    of Squire Sanders & Dempsey L.L.C.
