Credit Card Install Instructions 07/10/2008 Note : everything mentioned in this document can be found on the Drexel Management FTP site in the cclisten folder. 1) Copy the NewInstall folder from the Drexel Management FTP site. - Open Internet Explorer and browse to www.drexelmgt.com. - Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the link to our FTP site. - Open the cclisten folder - Right click on the NewInstall folder and select ‘copy to folder’ or ‘copy’. Put this on your computer. This folder contains everything you need to install the Credit Card Listener application, which will transmit credit card information to Mercury Payments for processing. 2) Install the software on your system. This must be installed on a Windows system which is connected to the Internet with an ‘always on’ broadband connection. - Open the NewInstall folder on your computer. - Extract the dsiclient.zip file to a temporary directory using Winzip or other zip utility. - Open the dsiclient folder and execute setup.exe to install. When this install completes, it will require a reboot of the windows system. - Open the NewInstall folder and execute soapsdk.exe. This will install MS SOAP - Extract dl_srvany.zip to c:\srvinst. You must extract to this directory, or the Credit Card Listener service will not start. - deploy the Credit Card Listener - Open the cclisten547 folder and run the setup.exe in this folder. - Copy cc.dat to c:\ (root folder) 3) verify that directories exist on creditcard server make sure this matches what you put in the cc.dat file above (attribute 3) for REI, these directories are always : c:\REI\creditcards \in \out 4) Click the Windows „Start‟ button and open the Control Panels. Open the „Administrative Tools‟ control panel. Now go to Services applet and right-click on Credit Card Listener. Go into properties. Click the „Log on‟ tab. Deselect the box that says “Allow service to interact with desktop”. Click „Apply‟ button at bottom right. Now select the „Allow service to interact with desktop‟ box. Click ok. - assuming that cclisten starts up correctly, you should see a message that it has found 2 good servers, and you should get no error messages. The first time you start up the Credit Card Listener with your live Merchant ID, you will get a message that CCListen is not Activated. In order to activate CCListen, you must aquire a valid license key. To acquire the license key, open the C:\cc.dat file with notepad. Line 9 will be the System ID that was displayed in the Credit Card Listener error message. Email this system ID to email@example.com along with your merchant id to obtain your license key. If it does not find the servers, verify that the windows firewall is turned off on the server, and that all the necessary ports are open on any internet firewall between the server and the internet. If you get an error that windows cannot find the specified path, this means that windows did not find c:\srvinst\srvany.exe. Either you did not unzip the dl_srvany.zip file, or you did not unzip it to c:\srvinst. If you get an ActiveX error, then there is a problem with the install. Click the Windows „Start‟ button and open the Control Panels. Open the „Administrative Tools‟ control panel. Now go to Services applet and right-click on Credit Card Listener. Go into properties. Click in the „start parameters‟ box and enter “C:\\WINDOWS\\SYSTEM32\\CMD.EXE”, then click the „start‟ button. (if your system32 folder is in WINNT instead of WINDOWS, change accordingly). This will bring up a command window. Type “regsvr32 mpxclass.dll” and hit enter. After the dll is successfully registered, close the command window, and stop the credit card listener service. Clear the „start parameters‟ box and click the „start‟ button again. The CClisten application should start up. If this does not resolve your problem, contact Drexel Management at 610-924-9290 for assistance. If you get an error that says “Cannot connect to servers. Automation Error. Classfactory cannot supply the requested class”. Uninstall CClisten. Open the windows explorer and enter %windir%/system32 in the address bar. Look for MPXCLASS.DLL. If it is there, click “start...run” and enter “regsvr32 mpxclass.dll –u” Then right click on the mpxclass.dll in windows explorer and delete it. Now re-install cclisten5.4.6 and try again. **** For versions 5.4.6H and higher ***** If upgrading from a lower version and getting an error about not being able to connect to servers and create objects: Uninstall CCListen Uninstall DSIClient Open a DOS prompt, go to the system32 directory of the computer (i.e. c:\windows\system32, c:\winnt\system32, etc.) Type “regsvr32 mpxclass.dll –u” Type “del mpxclass.dll” Restart the computer Reinstall the newest version of DSIClient After reboot, reinstall CCListen ****** ******* If you get a message that CCListen was not activated, you need to acquire a valid license key. To acquire the license key, open the C:\cc.dat file with notepad. Line 9 will be the System ID that was displayed in the Credit Card Listener error message. Email this system ID to firstname.lastname@example.org along with your merchant id to obtain your license key. For any other issues, contact Drexel Management at 610-924-9290 for assistance. Don’t proceed to the next step until CCListen starts up successfully. 5) Run ccutil and enter a test sale transaction Transaction type – sale Credit card number – 4003000123456781 Expiration Date - 0809 Invoice number – 12345 Check amount – 2.23 Hit the „Process Sale‟ button. It will ask for a password. This is the password in your cc.dat file, attribute 4. Enter the password (usually 1234). You should get a response that test cards are not allowed on live accounts.
