    *You can also access Setup Mode directly while the radio is turned off—just press and hold the mode knob for 3 seconds and release, this will turn the r1 on, press and release the volume knob to power off.
     Note:	The r1 is equipped with a long-life internal battery which is designed to keep the clock running for 12 hours at a time in the event of a power interruption. This battery should last for 5-10 years after purchase.

     Note:	When an alarm is set it will sound at the same time every day unless the alarm is turned to the “OFF” position in setup mode. Therefore, cancelling an alarm only cancels the alarm for 24 hours.
