TB and leprosy, infections caused by sensitive microorganisms, meningococcal carriers, Gonorrhea

Adult TB and leprosy: 10mg/kg as a single daily dose Sensitive microorganisms: 6001200mg daily in 2-4 divided doses. Meningococcal carriers: 600mg once daily for 4 days. Gonorrhea: 900mg as a single dose with another antibiotic

Hypersensitivity. Jaundice. 1st trimester pregnancy, premature and newborn infant.

Skin reactions; GI intolerance; flu-like syndrome; reddish discoloration of contact lenses, urine, sputum and lacrimal fluid.
