12/11/08 AIMSweb Quick Guide for Principals Go to www.aimsweb.com Click on the Customer Login Enter Your User Information/Password Customer ID Number: 8390 Username: ________ Password: ________ There are two tabs along the top that you will use most often: Reports and Progress Monitoring The Reports tab displays AIMSweb Benchmark reports. Many reports are available such as comparison by school or grade, reports on score distribution, norm charts, norm tables, and correlation graphs. This tab is where the majority of the reports are available to you. The Progress Monitor tab will show reports for students being progress monitored Viewing and Printing Schoolwide Charts and Graphs Click the Reports tab (along the top) Click on the school tab (along the left side) You will then see the reports available to you at the school level. These show data on all the grades, classes, and students in your school. The light grey tabs list the subject areas. Click on the tab for the subject area for which you want a report. (ex: Early Lit., Early Num., Mathematics, Writing, DIBELS, Huron Algebra). Make sure that the specific assessment bubble is selected. Early Lit. Early Num. Mathematics Writing Huron Algebra -Letter Naming -Oral Counting -Math -Written -Algebra Basic Fluency (LNF) (OCM) Computation for Expression- Skills -Phoneme -Number 1st-6th (M- Correct Writing (A-BSM) Segmentation Identification (NIM) CBM) Sequence -Algebra Fluency (PSF) -Quantity -Math (WE-CWS) Foundations -Nonsense Word Discrimination Computation 2 (A-AFM) Fluency (NWF) (QDM) for 7th & 8th (M- -Algebra Content -Missing Number CBM2) Analysis (MNM) (A-CAM) . At this point there are a number of reports that are available. One option that you will use often is the “Above/Below Target” graph. To View and Print the Above/Below Target Graph Click on the Above/Below Target image Click on the word Expand. (near the top in blue letters) Next go Display choose “Last 3 Years” from the drop down Click the bubble next to the “Above & Below” Check the box next to “Show Numbers” Click on the word “Display” Click on the red PDF tab at the top You can now print this report Then close this window Click on the green BACK tab at the top of the AIMS web page This will return you to your school page Viewing and Printing Grade Reports Grade level reports show data on all the classes and students in the selected grade in your school. Click on the Grade tab Select on the grade you want to view Click on the GO button View and Print Reports The light grey tabs list the subject areas. At this point there are a number of reports that are available to you depending on the information you want. Click on the image of the report you want Click on the word Expand. (near the top in blue letters) Choose the options you are interested in Click on the word DISPLAY Click on the red PDF tab at the top You can now print this report Then close this window. Click on the green BACK tab at the top of the AIMS web page This will return you the grade page Viewing and Printing Class Reports Class level reports show data for all the students in the selected class. Individual student reports can also be shown. Click on the Class Report tab (along the left side) Select a “Teacher” from the dropdown box. Click on the GO button Select the time period you want (ex: Fall-September Benchmark) Click on the GO button Click on the tab for the subject area for which you want a report. (ex: math, writing DIBELS, Early Lit., etc.). Make sure the specific assessment bubble is selected. Viewing and Printing Individual Student Reports Click on the Multi-year button Click on the HTML button Click on the Pathway button Show Targets box must be checked Click on DISPLAY box Click on the red PDF tab You can now print individual student reports for the whole class Then close this window There are multiple types of reports available, including: Instructional recommendations Score Distribution Summary of Effectiveness Histogram Improvement Report Feel free to view any of these.
