WELCOME TO
NEW ZEALAND
Experience an adventure of a lifetime
Welcome to Coral Princess Cruises and our
exciting world of expedition cruising. We are
proud to present to you a diverse itinerary
exploring the spectacular coastlines, rugged
scenery and interesting cultures of
New Zealand.
We invite you to join us on our 12 night Aotearoa expedition cruise
from Auckland to Milford Sound exploring the pristine landscapes
and stunning natural features of the 'Land of the Long White Cloud'.

My wife Vicki and I formed Coral Princess Cruises in 1984, cruising
Australia's Great Barrier Reef with a converted World War II
submarine chaser. Today, as we celebrate our 28th year of
discovering Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific's most
exciting and diverse cruising destinations, Vicki and I are extremely
proud that our company is now recognised as Australia's longest
established and most awarded extended cruise operator.

Our dream has long been to share with others the opportunity to
experience at first hand the great beauty, diverse culture, dramatic
landscapes, scenic coastlines and remote islands of New Zealand in
the same way the early explorers did - from the deck of a ship.

We commissioned Oceanic Discoverer specifically for exploration
and discovery to some of the most remote and untouched regions of
the world. With just 72 guests, and our 'open bridge' policy, you will
share in the knowledge of our experienced Expedition Leader and
Guest Lecturers as we retrace the paths of famous adventurers, and
explore areas seldom visited. Whether your interest is natural history,
wildlife, geology, early exploration, culture, or just relaxing in the
cruising ambience, an Oceanic Discoverer expedition cruise is for
you. I guarantee every day will be a new experience.

From our specially designed excursion vessel ‘Xplorer’ and fleet of
Zodiacs you will explore and experience stunning fiords, and cruise
to remote islands, communities and beaches, all otherwise largely
inaccessible. You will be free to spend your cruise simply relaxing or
filling every minute with adventure and exploration - the choice
is yours.

Our worldwide reputation is testament to our professional and
dedicated Australian and New Zealand crew, they will meet your
every need with pride and delight. When you join us aboard Oceanic
Discoverer be ready to experience the adventure of a lifetime.

more disappointed b y the things that
you didn’t do than the ones you did do.

So throw off the bowline. Sail away
        from the safe harbour.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.”
