Boil the noodles according to the directions on the package. After draining the pasta put it into a serving bowl. Mix all of the remaining ingredients and thoroughly combine. Serve this meal while still hot and enjoy. This recipe is for 4 servings. Garlic and Potato (appetizer) 4 radishes (medium) 2 c mashed potatoes 8 black olives (sliced thin and pitted) 8 cloves garlic (crushed) ½ c plain yogurt (low fat) 6 tbsp olive oil ¾ tsp black pepper 1 tsp. salt Combine garlic, potatoes, salt, yogurt, olive oil, pepper, and salt. Put mixture on a platter and decorate with radishes and olives. Serve chilled. Cheddar Cheese Pie 1½ to 2 pounds fresh made or frozen dough, thawed l/8 tsp. cayenne 4 cups grated cheddar cheese 1 tsp. pepper 4 Tbsp. olive oil 2 large onions, finely chopped 1½ tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh coriander leaves Make the dough for the pies. Set it aside. To make the filling you will need to mix all of the ingredients that are left and leave this to the side. Next, you will need to make 20 balls of dough that are equal in size. Place the dough balls on a flour dusted cookie sheet. Cover the dough balls with a damp cloth and allow to sit in a warm place for about half an hour. Roll the balls into 6 inch circles. The filling needs to be divided into 20 equal parts. Place the filling (each 1/20) into the dough ball. Fold the ball over the top of the filling to form a pizza slice shape. Be sure to pinch the edges of the crust closed. The filling needs to be placed in the pies ASAP, otherwise the filling can begin to change consistency into a more watery filling. Put the pies onto a grease cookie sheet and place into a preheated oven at 400F for 20 minutes. When the pies turn a light golden brown color they are done. You should lightly brush the tops of the pies with olive oil. A diet for people with gout might prove to be a bit challenging at times, but if you are able to be creative you can find and make recipes that are fitting to you and your taste buds.
