It’s more than just a fun event…your students are accomplishing a very important goal: to
raise money to support the Enrichment Programs and Athletics!
What are ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS?
These are programs that “Enrich” your student’s educational experience! They include:
Spanish...and Hands-On Science Lab
At many other schools these programs are either volunteer-driven or taught by the class-
room teacher. Sadly, a growing number of schools have eliminated these special programs
We contribute $55,000 each year to provide the necessary staff and supplies to support
these fabulous programs. We are fortunate to have specialized instructors that are de-
voted to developing your student’s talents and interests. Thank you Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Koch,
Mrs. Hunt, Miss Mikulencak, Mrs. Brown, Miss Cesena, Mrs. Vorreiter, and Mr. Clemons for
sharing your passion with our students!
What about ATHLETICS?
Above and beyond our Enrichment Program commitment, our chosen project this year is to
give to Athletics and Physical Education. Beginning in first grade all students attend PE
each week, and our after school Junior High Athletics Program has enjoyed a rich and suc-
cessful history! It’s time to provide some necessary equipment and facilities upgrades to
ensure that our program produces healthy, active students and athletes with “The Heart of
