Introduction of new technologies and new services. Opening
market to VoIP. Utilisation of VSAT and WiFi / WiMax for
connecting business customers in urban areas.
10h30 – 11.00 Country paper by a the host country.
Universal access and new services. Role of Internet and
mobiles in rural areas. Utilisation of VSAT and WiFi / WiMax
for connecting community telecentres in rural areas.
11.00 – 11.30 COFFEE BREAK
11.30 – 12.00 Dr. Hurani Example of strategy based on the convergence of L09-convergence
services: fixed, mobiles and Internet
12.00 – 13.00 Round table: participants are invited to express their view on
the current emergence of Internet based services and VoIP in
their respective countries.
13.00 – 14.00 LUNCH BREAK
14.00 – 16.00 Practical exercises 2 in working groups on the marketing PEX02-marketing
strategy and commercial action plans related to the Internet
services and VoIP to be undertaken to improve the financial
indicators.

scorecards. The four perspectives: Financial, customers,
processes, learning and growth.

Expectations of the company's shareholders. Financial indicatorss
performance indicators measuring the profitability of the
company that even the non-financial people should
know. Annual financial indicators. Criteria for investment
project evaluation. Importance of cash-flow.
