Comments. All of these projects are designed to help lift thousands of needy people out of poverty and alleviate the effects of the dreadful famine that strikes Niger each year. Partnership with the US Peace Corps is essential because the projects are located hundreds of miles from Niamey, and the club relies on US Peace Corps volunteers in the communities to oversee much of the work.
