During my time on the MacKenzie Art Gallery Board of Trustees it has       10,000 people attended our public programs. Thanks to the generous

Financial Highlights
• The Gallery recieved the largest single corporate sponsorship of $50,000 from Casino Regina.
• Total value of works approved by Canadian Cultural Property Export Review Board and receipted was $757,803.
• Total net results of three fundraisers was nearly $100,000.
• Net proceeds of $78,800 from the Gallery Shop supported Gallery programs.

We have audited the balance sheet of MacKenzie Art Gallery Incorprated as of March 31, 2009 and the statements of fund balances,
fund revenue and expenses, including supporting schedules, and cashflows, for the year then ended. These financial statements
are the responsibility of the Gallery’s management. Our responsibility is to express an opinion on these financial statements
based on our audit.

We conducted our audit in accordance with Canadian generally accepted auditing standards. Those standards require that we
plan and perform an audit to obtain reasonable assurance whether the financial statements are free of material misstatement. An
audit includes examining, on a test basis, evidence supporting the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements. An audit
also includes assessing the accounting principles used and significant estimates made by management, as well as evaluating the
overall financial statement presentation.

In our opinion these financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of the Gallery as at March
31, 2009 and the results of its operations and cash flows for the year then ended in accordance with Canadian generally accepted
accounting principles.

The MacKenzie Art Gallery is a non-profit cultural organization supported by membership and volunteers
and generously funded by individual donors, corporate sponsors, the University of Regina, Government of
Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Arts Board, the Canada Council for the Arts, the Museums Assistance
Program, Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Culture, Youth and Recreation, City of Regina Arts
Commisssion, Regina Public Schools, Regina Catholic Schools.

VISION
The MacKenzie Art Gallery welcomes everyone to experience visual art in all its diversity. We seek to engage
the people of Saskatchewan through our exhibitions, programs and permanent collection.

MANDATE
The purpose of the MacKenzie Art Gallery is to serve the people of Saskatchewan by exhibiting, collecting,
preserving and interpreting original works of art for the enrichment of the quality of life and for the
establishment and maintenance of an artistic and cultural heritage in Saskatchewan.
