To whom it may concern:
It is with great pleasure that I am writing this recommendation for Mike Smith. I have known him in school for
several years now and he is a wonderful young man. He is thoughtful and cares for others all the time. When he
as a goal in front of him, his is determined to see it through completion. If he needs assistance, he seeks it out,
and is able to step back and reassess a situation if he needs to change direction with it.
Mike currently participates in the school's Community Service Learning Program and works with multi-
handicapped young and middle-aged adults. He enjoys helping these people and works with them on a variety
of activities including arts and crafts, musical activities, and exercising skills. This is a field of interest for Mike
and he is looking forward to continuing his education in the field of Special Education.
For part-time work, Mike is employed at a cleaning business in a neighboring town. He greets customers, takes
their requests, and then finds their orders upon their return. He works some days after school and on weekends
and will fill in for co-workers when needed. Mike is conscientious and will help out whenever he can.
If you have any questions about Mike that you feel I could help you with, please feel free to contact me. I think
Mike would be a wonderful addition to your student body. If you have any questions or need additional
information please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your time.
