For all those that are unaware, the club has a website: http://www.jjjfc.com. On it you will find all of the club information such as the committee contacts, important dates for the year and links to other useful websites. All news will now be posted up on the website (in addition to being posted here in the Journal) and players can see their playing history in the 'Player Database' section. Go and have a look! The newly established Jandakot Jets Senior Football Club (18+), which is based at Atwell Oval in Atwell, has been accepted into the Mercantile Football Association for the 2009 Season. In the years to come it is hoped that many of the juniors currently playing with the Jandakot Jets will filter through to the seniors. Training has commenced and anyone interested in playing; either returning to football or wanting to play for a club closer to home; are welcome to attend. The Jets currently train Monday & Wednesday nights from 6.00pm at Atwell Oval. The first practice game is scheduled for Sunday April 5 v. Canning Tigers 2.00pm at Wyong Reserve in Bentley. Our first two games will be Saturday Night fixtures at Atwell Oval on the 18th & 25th of April starting at 6.30pm. These will be family nights with all locals and members of the Junior Club encouraged to attend. Find the “Jandakot Jets Football Club” on Facebook. Registration Day Success
This year we held our registration day on the 22nd of Feb and it was a great success. Thanks needs to be given to all committee and support people, without volunteers the club would not be possible. Thanks to the Mouth Guard man (Shane) for for once again attending to make it easier for parents to obtain a professionally fit mouthguard. Also to the Uniform staff for outfitting our players.

All Team Managers files are in the process of being put together and will be distributed as soon as complete. Could all team managers pass on their contact details ASAP to the Team Manager Coordinators Tany Iannello-Evans for the Juniors to Youth Teams and Sandra Collard for the Auskick Teams so they can keep you up to date during the season with any new information. All future newsletters will be emailed to team managers for distribution to players and posted on the website.
Who’s Training When & Where?
Tom Hoare the Coaching Coordinator has allocated each team a timeslot for training which can be located on the website or by contacting Tom on 0438 370 366. Could all coaches please brief parents on rules and code of conduct especially towards umpires.

We have developed what we believe is a great value-for-money package for a local business partner, which I would like to discuss further. This arrangement could also benefit the community through strengthening our club and continuing to give local youngsters an outlet to play team sport within our area. Billabong Self Storage
The club would like to thank Billabong Self Storage at Cutler Rd Jandakot for their assistance with storing of the club equipment during the summer months. They were kind enough to support us by offering 1-month free storage.
Want to earn extra $$$$$
Become an UMPIRE and enjoy the game of footy from a different perspective and get paid $$$$’s for it. Umpire training is on Wednesday nights from 5.30pm to 7pm at Anning Oval, North Lake Road. Come down and have a try. We are fortunate at Jandakot to have a lot of boys and girls who either play or are siblings already umpiring. Why not become another one. If you are 13yrs or older and interested please contact Diane Smith our club Secretary on 041 799 8783 who can give you more information.
Youth Camp
The 13’s to 17’s Youth teams will be spending 2 nights on the 3rd till the 5th of April at the Point Peron Camp School getting there fitness and discipline levels into condition for another exciting season. The Camp is designed to encourage team bonding and improving team skills and fitness. A guest speaker will be addressing the players and coaches on the Saturday night.
