Complete UAS approving body and joint panel and firstname.lastname@example.org for
authorisation by the Registrar’s panel before Wednesday at noon. Once approved, complete
advertising request form and return to PA, along with job description (including selection
criteria) and advert text (by e-mail). PA will arrange for advert to be placed and will collect
and collate applications
W ithin three working days of the closing date, copies of all CVs will be sent to all
panel members, along with Interview Arrangements form (sent to Chair only)
Interview panel meet to agree who will be shortlisted for interview, by assessing
each candidate against the selection criteria (using the Shortlisting form). Decide
whether test or exercise will be used.
Chair of panel completes and returns Interview Arrangement form, (along with all
shortlisting paperwork) to PA, a minimum of 7 days notice prior to the interviews.
PA invites candidates to interview and declines all others (except for any reserves).
Following interviews, Chair of panel makes verbal provisional offer to preferred
candidate (see notes on starting salaries and making offers). Chair then completes
Offer of Appointment form and returns it, along with all interview paperwork, to PA).
PA issues conditional offer letter and requests references. Once all checks have
been cleared/received, a full contract of employment is issued.
PA meets new employee on (or close to) first day to complete payroll paperwork etc
