Fees, Requirements & Payment: $40 per Entry (Driven, Ridden or Ground Driven) $35 per Stall for Weekend - Includes (1) bag of shavings. All equines must stay in a TRHP stall overnight. RV Hookups ($35 per night) and Golf Cart Rentals ($75 per day) are available through Texas Rose Horse Park. Call 903-882-8696 to make arrangements. Current Negative Coggins Test within (1) year of ADT date. Copy must be included with entry. Make Checks Payable to: Tejas Carriage Association (TCA). Training (Driven, Ridden or Ground Driven) Preliminary & Intermediate (Driven Only) VSE, Pony & Horse Pairs allowed in each Level Awards: Ribbons will be awarded through 6th place for each division and level Schedule: Order of go and times will be available and posted after 3:00 PM on Friday prior to trial. Arrival Time: Stabling will be open Friday, July 24th at noon. Dressage: Arena size for Ridden, Ground Driven and VSE will be 30m X 60m. For all others, the arena is 38m X 68m. All Dressage Tests will be ADS/ADT tests. Cones Clearance: Training Level: 40cm clearance; VSE 35cm Preliminary Level: 35cm clearance; VSE 30cm Intermediate Level: 30cm clearance; VSE 20cm Divisions/Levels:
Obstacles: Two obstacles will be set and driven twice. Training - 3 gates, Preliminary - 4 gates and Intermediate - maximum 5 gates. Vehicle & Harness: Any type of vehicle and harness is permitted, but MUST be of sound condition and in good repair. Unsafe equipment will be cause for elimination without refund of fees. Vehicles with pneumatic tires will be allowed. Attire: Dress is informal and turnout will not be scored. Protective headgear IS encouraged and IS REQUIRED for junior drivers 18 years of age and under. Notice: Management reserves the right to change, cancel or combine classes/divisions as deemed necessary. Judge’s rulings on disputes are final. Removal of bridle from any hitched animal or leaving a hitched animal unattended is cause for immediate elimination without refund of all entry fees. Rules will be based upon ADS/ADT rules and guidelines. Note: If you would like to participate in the ADT, but do not have a horse/pony that is driving, you can enter and ride or ground drive the entire ADT. This is a good opportunity to get your young/green horses and ponies out to expose them to a dressage test, cones and obstacles. Please be sure to note on your entry form that you are entering as a “Ridden or Ground Driven Entry”.
